Do you think that the point in life is to find Jesus and be saved?

Or do you feel that life is to be experienced and to grow spiritually? (no holy books and religion. Just a relationship with God.)

Nothing that I need to be saved from! :)

Those who do not evolve spiritually will NEVER find the True God of Creation, but will be stuck, forever, with the false gods of their man-made scriptures.

Personally, I believe it is to find jesus and be saved. The choice, however, is yours.

Please don't think I'm attacking or belittling anyone by asking the following questions. If you feel that life is to be experienced and to grow spiritually, how can this be accomplished without a holy book and religion? What would be the source of your inspiration? All spirituality has to have a source of guidance--Islam has the Quran, Christianity has the Bible, and all other religions have certain guidelines that are the tenents of their faith. Just to say that a person is simply going to be spiritual becomes an exercise in religion the moment you chose what you are going to do to increase your spirituality. For example, if you decide to get back to nature to increase your spirituality, and you decide that you add a daily hike in a local park in your schedule, then that hike has become one of the tenents of your belief, causing it to become a form of religion. If you wrote a schedule out that included this hike, and made sure you did it daily, then you have started your own holy book.

Whichever choice you (or anyone else who reads this) have chosen, the important thing for you to do is to make absolutely certain it is the path you want to follow--this includes Christianity.

While I have chosen to follow Jesus, and truly wish that everyone could know the peace and joy that I feel in my heart, I respect and acknowledge the fact that everyone does not agree with me. All I ask for is for my choice to be respected in kind.

experiencing life and all it has to offer and we all can appreciate the beauty around us .but if this is all there is and it ends there why bother ,to know you are never gonna die now that's something to live for . Id say Jesus first , then every thing has meaning

That is definitely NOT the point in life. Put that question to a Muslim, Buddhist or shaman in the Amazon jungle and see what answers you get. Christianity and her intimidation, fear-mongering is simply grotesque. Either you belong to our club or you belong to or will be cast into eternal hell...... Macabre macabre..... not to be taken seriously.

  • I believe the point of life is to find Jesus and be saved. To grow spiritualy by studying His word, by Christian fellowship, and a Christ centered life.

    God Bless You!

Unfortunately since the fall of man, it's not the only thing that we will be doing, only one of the things. One duty for the heavens and one duty for the living here on the planet.
