How do you watch US only videos in the UK?

some websites only let you watch videos if you are in the US

is there a way of watching them in the UK?

Lol this is the same method to get pass the school "website filter"

You use something called a proxy, in this case a free cgi proxy. All it does is divert your address (which shows you are from UK) to a server located in XX country (like US) and makes the website think you are from there.
Doesn't always work 100% but you have to keep trying until you find one that will.

Here is a list of free proxy servers
http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml

Basically:
>choose on the left side (green list) a proxy with US
>some wont work, but when it comes up it has like a serach bar where you put the website you want to view

example http://www.unblockall.net/ has a bar with "Http://www. [Browse]" all yo do is fill that box in with the website you want to view.

That will hopefully let you watch US videos, but like I said you may have to try a few before you find one that works for you

If, by 'videos', you mean 'videocassettes' or 'dvds', then the answer is yes. Modern televisions in the UK are multiple-standard, meaning they can accept NTSC signals as well as PAL signals. Similarly, most VCRs and DVD players can play back NTSC as well as PAL videos. Most UK dvd players will also play back US Region 1 dvds.

normally i watch a great deal of television set but i do love a good publication if i get into the book i wont put it down and i love that i get to use my imagination so much more than with a tv
