    Old school:

    10. Dan Fouts. War games in a helmeted uniform.

    9. Terry Bradshaw. Let the defense set you up, you command the O.

    8. Bart Starr. You don't have to be flashy.

    7. Ken Stabler. The lefthanders are a pain to defend.

    6. Roger Staubach. Yes sir!

    5. Dan Marino. All statistics all the time.

    4. Otto Graham. Led the best team.

    3. Joe Montana. Can't knock success.

    2. John Elway. Do more with less. Often in less than 2 minutes.

    1. Johnny Unitas. Best leader on the field, any year.

    2007:

    10: Chad Pennington

    9: Matt Leinart

    8: Matt Hasselbeck

    7: Brett Favre

    6: Philip Rivers

    5: Drew Brees

    4: Marc Bulger

    3: Tom Brady

    2: Carson Palmer

    1: Peyton Manning

Bubbled off: Steve McNair, Eli Manning, Trent Green (team?)

Not ever going to make my list: Michael Vick, Vince Young.

Running back Top Ten is that way ---------->

This is much easier than running backs or wide receivers... Too much talent at those positions

    ---

    ELITES

    1) Peyton Manning

    2) Tom Brady

    3) Drew Brees

    4) Carson Palmer

    STARS

    5) Donovan McNabb

    6) Marc Bulger

    VERY SOLID

    7) Matt Hasselback

    8) Trent Green

    9) Brett Favre

ANY 2nd Year Guy Can Take This Spot Or Another Young Player...

    10) Matt Leinart, Vince Young, Jay Cutler, Tarvaris Jackson, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Jamarcus Russell, Alex Smith, Brady Quinn

All those guys are too young or haven't even played... Too make a full judgement

But guaranteed atleast 2 of those guys will become huge stars this year

I was careful not to let my own bias creep in. I looked at this from a standpoint of who I would want on my team right now if I weas an owner. This way you don't reward youth too much or penalize someone who may not have as many years left in him.
