Correct way to store incense?

I am new to the burning of incense and just purchased ALOT of incense sticks. I was wondering the best way to store them?

    I keep mine in a long narrow wooden box made specifically for the purpose, you can find them at walmart or http://www.azuregreen.com has some... You will want to keep the different scents stored separately or the scents will blend...

    Incense will go "stale" if exposed to air for too long. If your sticks are in a cardboard box, then just put the boxes in a large ziploc. Try to get out any extra air from the bag before storing. Any container that is tightly sealed will do the trick.

    Also, keep the different scents sorted, or they will absorb other scents. In other words, keep the rose incense separated from the sandalwood or they'll start to smell like each other .. yuck.

    The correct way to store incense is in a sealled plastic bag. The bag will keep the scent from escaping from the incense fiber on the stick. That is why the come in the plastic bags. Stores have the tendence to store them for awhile.
