its a simple procedure to disable the bt wireless capability on the bt home hub
first you need to have all the total broadband software installed(most users have this) then look for the icon"hub manager"
on the hub manager window click "advanced" and then another window will appear and click"continue to advanced",you will then be asked for a user name and password,by defualt these are set to "admin"thats user name:admin...password:admin then press ok
your hub manager will then go to the advanced window,on there you need to go to configuration>wireless, then on that page you will see a box ticked saying "interface enabled"..simply uncheck this box and apply the settings, this will disable the wireless capability of your bt home hub(wired connections will continue to function normally)
then click "home" to return to the bt hub manager home page and then close the box as per normal....job done
note:every so often bt will update the hub manager and settings will look different and the layout will change, but the basic configuration will stay the same,i.e wireless settings,w.e.p key ect
any future problems let me know
