What is indium-tin oxide film and where can I buy it?

The purpose I'm asking this question, is because I would like to make a very basic liquid crystals screen and as far as I know it needs a indium-tin oxide film

Indium-tin oxide (ITO) film is a glass coated with a thin layer of ITO. In that case, the glass can conduct electricity. This done in laboratories to experiment of a variety of things such as liquid crystal so that they can view how laser light behaves in a liquid crystal under electric field. You can buy it in most glass manufacturers for experiments, such as corning.
