How would you define the mind?

    the mind is like a cell, it absorbs to build itself, and is originally caused to expand its self through the pressures of the environment surrounding it, the cell can only expand dependent on the flexibilities of the walls of the cell. This analogy is the best definition i can think of for the mind as it is very similar to the dynamics of the big bang theory and i think it would be very suitable for the birth of the universe to have similarities with the birth of the mind. i think that the the mind as we had it was borne out of the pressures to reach out on an emotional level and thus creating a new form of interaction in the universe.
