    Best answer: I have several tattoos but didn’t get one until my early 20s. I’m in the Uk so we can’t be tattooed until at least 18 (legally - I know plenty of people who got them aged 16/17 and regret them now). You may disagree / not want to hear it but you really are too young to make such a permanent decision. Make sure you really want it and then wait at least another year and be sure you still want it then. Also if you are unsure neither your arm nor your neck is a good placement. Both will be forever visible and even if you love it and have no regrets you may need to cover up sometimes. Some employers might require it and you don’t want to limit your options so early on. Once you know what you want to do and are sure that visible tattoos won’t harm your prospects then I say go for whatever you want but..
    Arm= ow
    Neck = ow x10 (thin skin!)

    Best answer: The entirety of political men in Rome were involved in gay relationships. Men who were in political power would host parties with male prostitutes. Their wives would go home early in the party, if they were even invited at all, and then the entertainment would come in.
    'Gay' relationships were very normal for men with political power, it was very normal.
    Many Gladiators also took part in this. Its not gay, its just a part of their culture.
    Many other people in the Colosseum were prisoners of war, and prisoners in general. They would be put in the pit with a lion or bear or tiger and would be killed by the animal as both entertainment and punishment. If you were lucky to get blood on you, you were extra special.
    Those prostitutes, both male and female, who had done something wrong would also go into the pit to see if they could survive a lion or bear.
    These people weren't gay, or bi, or anything like that. Its just how their society worked. We can't use the terms gay and straight because its not applicable to their culture.
    If you want to get a tattoo for one specific group, like the Gladiators, you need to know more about their culture and if you identify with it.
    The same goes for medieval knights. This system was a bit better, but still not great. A child was sold off to the kingdom at the age of 5-7, and then was trained to be a knight. If they survived the harsh hazing and treatment, and then the harsh training, they would be knighted in their late teens. These children were literally sold to the state so their poor farming parents could eat. Its not that great, but its what happened.
    History is full of things like this. Harsh treatments, gay relationships, lots of things happened back then that don't happen now.

    Hello I just got my 2nd tattoo on Saturday. This one is large and on my upper back. I had no problem with the small one on my wrist but this one has been a pain. Due to the location of my tattoo and how it goes up my shoulders, the scabs are regularly moved around and stretched all day, every day. This morning (4 days after getting inked) I was applying the CVS version of Aquaphor. On my shoulders and anywhere else that is regularly moved, my fingers were covered in pieces of scabs. I did it gently but the scabs were flaking off and sticking to my fingers. Is this an issue? Am i damaging the tattoo?

    At the same time, some things we do have long-term and far-reaching consequences. A tattoo is one of them.
    In the name of current fashion, you would be permanently disfiguring yourself with an image you like at your age now. What would the 30 or 40 year old you think? And your future mate? And your children and grandchildren? Your future employer or your future employees?
    If you love tattoos, then you probably will have no trouble ignoring those who don't. Many people love them!
    Obviously, tattoos do not appeal to me at all. I'm not the majority, I'm sure, but I doubt I'm alone.

    Best answer: They fade very quickly when you start to purposefully fade them.
    The best way is, obviously, getting it lasered off. The benefit of going to a professional is that the majority of stick and poke tattoos aren't quality tattoos, there isn't much ink in the correct layer of skin even though it may look like it on the surface. You will need only a few sessions to completely remove it. Just one session should be enough to fade it enough to cover it with any other design.
    Of course the DIY treatments aren't as effective, but they can work if you are ok with scaring. A stick and poke tattoo will fade quicker than a professionally done tattoo with at home removal methods, but this process is never very fast. At home removal methods can also get very gross very quickly, its important to keep the new wound you created clean to prevent infection and scar tissue buildup.
