Best answer: The best thing you can do is get off of yahoo answers, home of the sanctimonious moms, and think of your own reasons why you want to go to school rather than being homeschooled. There’s nothing wrong with preference for either style of education. People are individuals. It’s normal to want a little independence as you grow up.

A parent who would punish you for having an opinion is a lousy parent. A good parent would talk to you about the relative pluses and minuses of either decision. I’m sure you have no reason to be afraid of your parents.

Thinking up 15 is a lot. it seems like a arbitrary number meant to discourage you without actually discussing it, but if you break it down, it’s easier. You could start with the opportunity to meet new people. You could take part in school sports. You could learn a musical instrument. You could join a club. You could take a foreign language. Better science facilities. Teachers with subject area knowledge. Most high schools offer calculus to seniors who are advanced. Unless your mom was a math major, she wouldn’t be much help. You want independence within constraints. You learn from new experiences. There. That’s a lot.

  • Hey fellow Muslims, I am Jewish and I want to thank the Arabs for allowing Jews to return to Jerusalem.?

Best answer: If the current occupiers of the Holy Land were actually descendants of the Jews who used to live there, you might have a case. I suggest you ask Vladimir Putin if you can have the Kaliningrad Oblast as a homeland for German converts to Judaism.

I do indeed think you should laugh in their faces! Then go do something better with your life.. Herbalism sounds very interesting! Maybe study that in more detail! And maybe take up some witchcraft, while you're at it, just to p*ss them off? (Just kidding, sort of... :-P) Or to.. y'know.. improve your life, and because it is an interesting spiritual practice. That is it at LEAST nice to learn more about. :)

..Basically, screw a whole bunch of this kind of narrow-minded Christianity! Makes you wonder, what have they got to hide? ;)

In many cases, muslims are totally ignorant of what the texts actually say and mean

Both my wife and I are traditional Catholics who hold fast to the unchanging Catholic Faith. We attend only the Traditional Latin Mass and are open to however many children God will bless us with (against birth control). We've been married for 6 years and God has blessed my wife and I with 4 kids so far. Our oldest is turning 5 soon and we plan on homeschooling him (as we plan on doing with all of our children). Both of my parents are very concerned with their grandkids because my wife and I want to homeschool all of our kids. My dad calls me an idiot, saying that I'm not a professional teacher and that I'm going to make dummies out of my kids. It hurts when he says these things to me. Though, my wife and I are very aware of what public schools are teaching. We do not want our children subject to Darwinian evolution and sex ed. It's a Godless and atheistic environment. It certainly is a grave danger to our children's souls. Our primary job as parents and to help our children get to heaven. Though, my dad thinks I'm an extremist.
