Best answer: That would make you around 9 or 10 when you did that. Three months ago you reported being blackmailed and that you were 12 years old. Two years earlier you said you were 11 years old, so you're not even old enough to be using Yahoo Answers unless you're 13 now. Which could be possible given the timeline. You must have had a birthday in the last few months. Maybe even this month. I don't know.
The fact is that it's easy to get information on others. And truthfully, yes, the pictures contain what's called "meta-data" which contains a lot of information about you and the computer you created the files from. Even from a phone, which is even easier to track down. So the advice you received three months ago about telling your parents is even more important. You have no idea what pervert may be tracking you down right now and planning on contacting you and pretending to be someone your age and ask you to meet up. Then abduct you. You will be missed.
You were wise to hide your profile but foolish enough to leave a comment with your user name. That's how I know these things about you. A simple foolish mistake can haunt you for a long long time. Fortunately what you did you did when you were a very young and dumb little girl. You may get in trouble but it's certainly a whole lot better than being abducted, raped and possibly murdered. TALK to your parents today.
And change your profile to "Not Public".
I'm a father to five girls and I'd probably be upset if one of them told me they did what you've done. BUT I'd understand that we all do dumb things. I'd probably take the phone away from you so you can't send nudes to anyone else, but that'd be to protect you from foolish mistakes like the one you've made. And if someone was blackmailing one of my girls and making them send more nudes (you didn't specify what they wanted other than to know if you were barefoot), I'd have the FBI investigating them. It's VERY likely they've distributed those nudes of you to at least their friends. Which in itself is a crime. THEY can go to jail for it. Even if they're juveniles too. The biggest danger is that some adult could be using those pictures for purposes of personal arousal. Is that what you want to be? A source for someone to jerk off to? Sorry for the straight talk, but it's what you need to hear.
It's important. Get your parents involved. Even if you lose the phone for a year, it's to protect you. ANY loving parent would do that. And if your parents aren't that strict, still, losing the phone for a period of time should teach you to be more responsible for such a powerful tool. And yes, the phone is far more than a phone, it's a connection to the world. Being responsible with it is VERY important. My girls didn't grow up with cell phones, so they never made that sort of mistake. And mistake is what you made. It's time to rectify it. And don't worry, you're not going to go to jail for what you did. You'll likely get punished, but at least you'll live to graduate college and be something really important.
So focus on the truth and on your education. An education is the foundation of your future. Do well and your future will be great. An education will never leave you. Nor will it abandon the truth for the sake of a cover-up, or a lie.
Hope this helps.
Proud father of FIVE girls. WAY TOO MANY YEARS experience.
