This hacker is installing programs onto my computer...every time I try to log off , I see a new program installed either on my desktop or in the list of "new programs added" above the "frequently used" list. I cannot get rid of this hacker (s). The police are useless in this matter and there is nothing i\ can do about it. Is this happening to you? PS: These hackers hacked my bank too...are you guys experiencing anything like this?

Apparent they have this bullshit system called the "Auto Renewal" system where they'd automatically pull out money from your bank account after the 12 months period of their product. And then this year on July 12th, not only had I stopped using Avast for a year now but I got my money, not 20$, but 60$ pulled out of my bank account by Avast. I contacted Paypal and they promised me that they'd stop anymore transactions from this merchant but they advised me to contact Avast if I want the refund. I contacted Avast and submitted 2 tickets for my full 60$ refund and it has been 2 days now and they have not answered me.

  • So, about this whole election hacking fiasco?

Arent electronic votes on a separate network? How would it be possible to "hack" electronic votes unless somebody gained direct (physical) access to the network? And if a Russian spy or spies managed to gain direct access to the US electronic votes network, it means the US counterintelligence SERIOUSLY dropped the ball. After all, the electronic votes network is supposed to be kept secure at all costs. Don't mistake me for a Trump supporter, i think the man is an idiot. And if the Russians really did help him win, it most certainly was because they thought it would be advantageous to put a dumbass in power in USA. I am asking the question because i wonder how it would even be possible to "hack" elections.

  • Hi.I was wondering. Is it safer to reinstall the operating system to your android device than just do factory reset?I want to avoid hackers?

Best answer: Doing a factory reinstall does the exact same thing as reinstalling the OS. There is no difference other the source from which they read the install files. Hacking is done by an application that you download later. If you remove that application, the hacking stops. If you reinstall that application after the... show more

  • Why do I keep getting irrelevant ads on YouTube?

Look, I'm just a humble goblin living in his mancave. I'm not very active, and I keep away from Fortnite (forgive me for mentioning). Look, I'm just a humble goblin living in his mancave. I'm not very active, and I keep away from Fortnite (forgive me for mentioning). So why do I keep getting ads from Dick's Sporting Goods and Fortnite? Every time I see one, I click the little "why am I seeing this ad" button and opt out of seeing it, but it just shows up again within the hour. I have a brother who is very into these things. The only reason I've come up with is that Internet usage goes to the whole house - what one person does can transfer to everyone else. I believe this because my search bar suggests Lowes with the little clock icon, as if I searched for Lowes at one point, but I never have. Sure, I did get Fortnite because I thought it had promise (was I wrong!). I did let my brother play it on my computer since his computer couldn't run it, but now that he upgraded his PC, I haven't had the patience to uninstall the game. So what's the deal?

  • Can your computer get hacked if remote access id disabled?

This is asked out of curiosity as opposed to concern. But if you disabled remote access, don t unintentionally download scam antivirus, would you say it is close to impossible for a computer to get hacked assuming you have a good antivirus and Malware-bytes?
