Tbh I'm thinking of the day before maybe going to Asda and buying platters and the rest for the night after but any ideas would be great. Thanks in advanced

  • I'm having a 16th birthday party......?

I only invited like 11 people, I may invite more it just kinda depends. One person said they can't go and so far 7 people said they could go.... Assuming everyone else can't go, is that still a fun party? It's going to be a bonfire and I'm hoping it's not lame. I know most "Sweet 16"... show more

  • Would you basically "punish" the two guests that did show up for your dinner party because everyone else cancelled?

The wife openly said that she would not bother with appetizers for just us or boil any pasta. We entered through the kitchen. She took our coats and put them on the back of our chairs where we sat to eat meat balls and tomato sauce bread and the tossed salad I made. She even had the nerve to set the table with paper plates and plastic utensils as she said it was not worth doing dishes for just us. I was so pissed off and still am. We felt like we were being punished for everyone else cancelling out. This was the first time we had dinner there and never will I go back there again. Maybe that is why other's cancelled due to their lack of entertainment etiquette. I would never treat my guests that way, never.

I need ideas that are both enjoyable by adults and also, kid friendly. Adult birthday parties at the local bowling alley are $27/person. That's a little expensive. I am thinking around 25 adults with maybe 7-8 kids. What are some good ideas? Remember, it'll be winter time, so no pool parties or anything.
