• When should I bring my pet cat inside. How cold does it have to get?

I have an outdoor cat, and I prefer that he stay outdoors, but I worry about him during the winter time. How cold of a temperature can a cat withstand?

  • Will you still get rabies if bit by a indoor cat who was really never gone outside?

So we have a pet cat who is unvaccinated, but she always stay indoors, will there still be a big possibility that she have rabies? And by the way, no wild animals have broke into our house that she possibly had a fight with.

  • Do you allow your cat to move freely through your home?

Mine does, he just goes where he wants, he's taken to sleeping in the kitchen lately, he likes to curl up on the drainboard, he's a weird cat, but it's cute. He's bascially allowed everywhere in my house apart from going outside, of course. He's free to jump up on the sofa and the bed, chairs,... show more

But I know some people are stupidly restrictive when it comes to where a cat can go. I own my cat, I am his caretaker, we have a pretty sweet deal, I give him food and medical attention and he gives me a friend. (I'm not social, I don't have many human friends, I have like one human friend, the rest are animals, I keep rescue chickens)

Best answer: How well do you know this person? If they are good friends, I wouldn't charge them much, if anything at all, because i will be over at their house quite a bit, probably eat some of their food, and spend more time with the cats, because the cats know me. If they are just neighbors, people I'm friendly with but not super close with, then something like $5 a day, because you will still be in there frequently to play with and care for the cats.

    Name recommendations for this kitten?

I just got approved for adoption for this little man. His name at the shelter is "Albi" but I'm not really a fan of it. Any recommendations?

I drove over the neighbors cat and killed it. It was sleeping under the car and I haven’t seen it. I feel extremely bad. I apologized, but I have a feeling it wasn’t enough. What should I do?

  • Cats and Death?

Best answer: Your cat had a great day and over did it. Now she's just recuperating. She is old for a cat. We die because our bodies wear out, and we are not made to last forever.

Is this normal? Will she ever go back to being her playful self?

  • Should I give my cat only wet food?

Best answer: Whatever dry food they eat is replacing wet food. And in turn creating a hydration deficit in the cat. No cat needs that.

Put the kibble away and keep their appetite up for the wet!

  • Why are cats so well behaved, when your in public, they do not bark or growl at people, they treat them with respect, where as dogs, are..?

aggressive and unkind to other humans, showing teeth, trying to run over and bite people, I am sorry but they are facts, dog lovers, truth is dogs are bad in society, cats live alongside humans with no bother, cats sit on walls and leave humans alone!!!
