Hi, My neighbours cat is always round our house. Not complaining because it's adorable. because it's round so often we decided to buy it some food and leave a bowl of milk in the conservatory for it. I've noticed that the cat downs the milk and food within minutes. I've also noticed that if we go to stroke the cat it kind of hesitates so we give it space and let it come to us. The other day it slept in the dining room during the day but every time there was a slight noise it would literally jump which is probably normal. I've never owned a cat but I'm slightly worried about this one, it's flea collar is all torn and their eye looks mistreated and I just wondered if anything I said above would worry you also? Thanks.

  • What do I do if my roommate is badly neglecting her cat?

So one of my roommates has a cat and she doesn’t take care of it at all. It doesn’t help that the cat is a terror and destroys everything and won’t respond to discipline. She is gone from the apartment for 99 percent of the day because she has two jobs and sleeps at her boyfriends’ at night. The cat is completely neglected and that is probably why he acts out the way he does. She buys him cheap food and litter and NEVER cleans out his litter box. She won’t clean it out until I or another one of our roommates asks her to. Her room is a toxic waste dump and she is so lazy to where she leaves trash bags of cat poop laying around. His water in his bowl is turning different colors. We keep telling her to clean the litter and it’s still an issue. Our otherwise clean apartment smells like sh*t. What is the best way to handle this? It’s also complicated because me and my two other roommates are best friends and we don’t know her that well. I don't want it to seem like we're teaming up against her. Her and her boyfriend also mess with witchcraft which I know little about, but it makes me terrified to upset her. She’s also one of our sorority sisters so I feel like we can’t yell at her/throw her out (if that was possible). She's a really nice girl, just super lazy and slobby. What is the best way to handle this? The cat would be better off in a shelter I believe. I don’t know what to do, but it’s making our living situation miserable. Any advice/possible solutions is appreciated.

NOTHING else looks and sounds cuter than kittens. They're the most lovable living things. Why is it so?

  • Can liquefied cat food be replaced as cat milk to feed new born kitties?

Best answer: Do not, I repeat, do not give kittens regular cat food. If they are older than 4-6 weeks, you can give them wet kitten food, which is cheaper than kitten milk. But, if they are younger than 6 weeks and really tiny still, you must give them kitten milk or they will die. I've had this situation before. One cat... show more

But, if they are younger than 6 weeks and really tiny still, you must give them kitten milk or they will die. I've had this situation before. One cat was a bad another and wasn't producing enough milk. She was hardly feeding the kitten and he failed to thrive. I fed him kitten food under the mistake that he was old enough pull through with the little bit of milk she did give him. My brother said he found him dead. If you're gonna refuse to pay for kitten milk, take them to a shelter or somewhere and see if they have an orphan momma cat. If the kittens are indeed older than six weeks, they should be okay with kitten food. Either way though, don't give them regular adult cat food.

    Simple answer
6+ weeks - give kitten food.
6- weeks - give kitten milk or they'll die.

Maybe consider a catio to give him confined outdoor time.

  • I got scratched by my cat while giving him a bath, he's a house cat and doesn't go outside and is very healthy, what should i do?

Best answer: The risk of rabies is less than none. Rabies is spread through saliva, through a bite wound. The animal that bites you must also have rabies for them to give it to you. Your kitten is not rabid, and is old enough to have their rabies vaccination, and cannot give you rabies. You do not need to bathe a cat or... show more

I wanted my husband to tell them off and get the poor thing so we could bury it but he said it was on the mans property so he can’t do anything. I find that horrible and want to know if it’s something I can report to the police as animal cruelty. I want something done because I have 3 cats that live outside and often hang out in that barn where the poor cat was murdered. We’ve lived here 15 years and it’s never been an issue, only now that he moved in. So is there anything I can do to get this monster of a man to not hurt another living creature?
