It’s running the latest windows 10. All I want to do is use my pc for YouTube and average multitasking. I’d like the watch Youtube, open iTunes, search on chrome, do college work. I do NOT want to play games on it so no worries on not being able to game on it. This PC has always struggled to do basic tasks which is a shame. I have good internet but sadly the pc struggles to load YouTube videos and iTunes. This pc lags a lot whenever it has to do a couple things at once. I’m not that big into computers but I researched this subject a lot and I’m interested in cracking open my pc and upgrading any parts and cheaply upgrading it. But nothing on google offers actual instructions and actual info on parts to upgrade on it. I saw a great vid on YouTube where a guy replaced the cpu in my exact pc and did so very easily but he didn’t say what it was upgraded to. What can I actually do or replace to have this thing work slightly better. I’ve reinstalled windows. I wiped the memory. I followed some great tutorials on YouTube to speed up my pc and it actually helped a ton! But it’s not enough. I don’t wanna throw my pc away if I can simply upgrade the cpu. I know all in one pcs are bad for upgrading but all I want is to upgrade it slightly enough to where it can be used with out lagging.

Just some school work, on powerpoint or Microsoft word and internet browsing. I deleted all my files and it's showing low space, like 143MB of 27.8GB left, Why? I'm confused?

sounds as if better cooling would be helpful. look into one of those under the laptop auxiliary coolers -- you want it to increase airflow.

and ask the maker via their support pages if the temps you are seeing are normal for that model ... might be there's something not completely right with it and sending it in for service/RMA would be appropriate.

If I plug them in, they'll usually work at first, but if I move the laptop or the cord at all they'll stop registering in the computer. I'll have to twist or wiggle the plug until it works again. This is really annoying to deal with all the time. Could someone tell me what's wrong and what I could do to fix it?

  • Do brand new computers not come with Microsoft Word or an equivalent program preinstalled?

Best answer: Pretty much all new Windows computers come with a free 30-day trial of Microsoft Office. Once the trial is up, Microsoft wants you to pay for Office 365 (either monthly or yearly). I was wondering how to improve hard disk defrag speed would faster processor more ram or larger cache size say 128 mb hard drive cache and 7200 rpm hard drive help any. I know solid state no need for defrag but I also wanted a regular hard drive for storage and know it will need to be defraged.
