• Why are men who comment on youtube so evil?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lY8rZYh... Look at the comments. They were mostly written by American men and they were congratulating a man for sucker punching a woman unprovoked. How can any one think this is right? If it were a man getting sucker punched, you wouldn't see comments like that.

I've cleaned my system up and there is sufficient storage and hardware specs to run my games. I am suspicious that it is the RAM causing it but I have no way of finding out. tips?

  • Whenever you delete a file in Windows, why is the place it goes into called the recycle bin instead of the trash can?

Best answer: Because it can still be restored easily until the recycle bin is emptied. The file actually still exists. You have only told the computer that it is okay to overwrite that space.

Best answer: Everyone says that if you install 3 sticks that it disables dual channel but it doesn't because there are 2 channels that are essentially wired to the CPU's Memory controller. Intel created a thing called Flex Mode way back in 2004 when dual channel memory systems first came out. This isn't a Yes or NO thing like it's made out to be.

Where you install the sticks makes a difference. If you install the 8gb stick in Channel A slot 2 and then install the 4gb sticks in Channel B Slot 1 & 2 then it will run in full dual channel mode.

If you Install the 8gb and 4gb stick in channel A and install the other 4gb Stick in Channel B then it will alternate between single and dual channel. 8gb would be in dual channel with 16gb being in single.

Here is a summary of Flex Mode.

Intel Flex Memory technology dates back to 2004. It lets you use DRAM of different capacities to enable the exploitation of the motherboard’s multi-channel architecture whenever possible. Maybe you already have two 2GB DRAM modules and want to add a 4GB module. Generally, you would be running the 2x 2GB set in dual-channel mode (normally, slots 1/3 or 2/4). With flex mode, you can put the 4GB one in slot 1 and the two 2GB modules in slots 3/4 so that you have 4GB in each channel.

Flex mode can also take into account uneven amounts in the channels — if, say, that 4GB module were 8GB, then you would have 8GB running in dual-channel mode and the leftover 4GB as added capacity in single-channel mode. Another possibility would be to have 8GB in slot one, 2GB in slot two, 4GB in slot three and 4GB in slot four, giving you 18GB total or 16GB in dual-channel mode and 2GB in single-channel mode. This is sort of an odd setup, but I have seen it used. It is more common to have 2 x 8GB and 2 x 4GB where, ideally, it would be placed 8-4-8-4 so that 12GB is in each channel.
