So, back to the beginning, and assuming that you want a drone with a cameras in it - what sort of photography do you want to do?

Note also that there is no such thing as a "professional camera", though indeed pro photographers do spend good money on equipment which they know how to use, and which can consistently do the techie bits to bring home the pictures they need. No camera, whether hand-held or mounted in a drone, will guarantee "marvellous pictures" if not used well.

I tried looking at their website but couldn t find any answers on Camera regulations. I Have a canon Rebel t6 it has a portable charger. I know I have to put it on the carry on bag with the lens detached from the camera. Is it going to be an issue? Are they going to ask me to remove the camera? I m going to give them a call to make sure.

Best answer: It means "compressing time"... like capturing images or video over hours, days, weeks or months and producing a video playback that lasts seconds.

Example: Year ago, I captured 8+ hours of the drive from San Diego, CA to San Francisco, CA. The final rendered project takes about 6 minutes to playback.

There are at least two ways to do time lapse:
    1) Capture lots of video and use a video editor to spead it up, then render the project. In the case of my SD--> SF drive, I captured eight 60-minute miniDV tapes, imported all (in HD, that came to 44 gig per hour x 8 hours) of video ready to edit. I think I sped it up about 8,000%.

    2) Take LOTS of still images at a preset interval. In this case, a camera with an internal or external intervalometer makes it lots easier. We can use the SD--> SF trip as an example. Set the intervalometer to take 1 still image every minute. 60 minutes in an hour x 80 hours = 4,800 still images or "frames". Drop these, in order, on the video editor's timeline. If we assume 24 frames per second, then 4,800 divided by 24 frames per second = 200 second playback or 3.33 minutes.

In each case, don't move the camera. Use a tripod or other steadying device. There are "time lapse motion control" devices available if you want to pan (horizontal) the camera. They move the image capture device slowly and evenly - when sped up, it looks like "normal" speed panning.
