• My Yahoo Answers stopped working. Help!?

So I've been shitposting for a solid 20 minutes and now when I go to answer a question it says false when I press submit. Do I just need to chill and try again later, or is it related to the less than helpful content of my answers?

  • Is France easier than Spanish?

Best answer: You speak Spanish like you speak English, in a way. Except it is Spanish. French has this whole new pronunciation thing that makes it very different - and more difficult to learn.

  • Is is compulsary that I surrender my passport??

Best answer: Yes, it is, but they don't keep it until you leave. Italian law requires visitors to register their presence with the police. Rather than you going to the police station, hotels make a copy of your passport information page and send it to the Questura when you register; you get the passport back when the copy... show more

I do not want to look like a tourist if I can help it. Also, Is the makeup done differently over there?

Best answer: I'm an Italian woman living in Italy, it depends on the place, the city. I live in a quiet village in Piedmont, life is still very safe here, I've spent my Summer holidays on Veneto's beaches and it was safe for me and all tourists.
In many beaches of Veneto (not al, though) there is a large measure of control by police who stops every morning all immigrants who want to enter beaches to sell their things to bother people who want to relax themselves.
However, and it makes me feel very sad, it's true that life in my country isn't safe anymore like a few years ago.
I was a teenager in the 90s and I used to take the train alone to visit my relatives who live 300 kilometers away my village, I always felt very comfortable and safe. No one has ever sexually harrased me. Today I'm afraid to take the train, whether I'm alone or with my husband. There are a lot of African gangs who take our trains without paying the ticked, they stab ticket inspectors if he's a man and sexually harrass them if she's a woman.
Bad things have happened to some girls and their boyfriends in my main city and I don't feel safe anymore.

PS: as far as someone else's answer is concerned, pickpockets aren't the biggest problem in Italy, they're just in some biggest cities like Rome and Venice and not in other big cities, for example in Turin there aren't pickpockets. In Stresa there aren't pickpockets. And pickpockets in Italy have always been gypsies.
