why do current events people fail to understand my ridiculous questions and assume that i'm serious when all do is make absurd observations?
Favourite answer:Some current events people believe that your ridiculous questions are serious even though they are absurd observations because they believe that all current events questions that are asked are serious questions. It is assumed to be trolling because it's not in the humor and jokes topic part of yahoo answers.

Is my boyfriend right in saying he shouldn’t social distance or wear a mask since I work as a nurse’s aid in a nursing home?
We are fit tested for N95 which we always wear and wear extensive personal protective equipment when needed. He thinks he doesn’t need to take precautions and that he should see family and friends who don’t social distance.

Why do people always give money to homeless?
Why not give to someone who works their *** off and is broke after paying rent and bills and has no time to eat at soup kitchens because they have to work? Those are the real hungry, not the homeless, homeless people are very well fed and have no bills to pay or anything to pay.

How can I educate myself?
Most people probably know about all the protests going on. I dont live in an area where I can help protest and i dont have any money to donate as I'm just a teen. I've signed petitions and shared them with everyone I know. I also want to educate myself some more. Do you have any ways I can?

Anyone know some good charities?
I’m 16 and for Christmas and my birthday I ask people to donate to a charity of my choosing as a gift for me since I don’t need or want anything. Last Christmas I asked people to donate to the WWF, does anyone have any recommendations for a charity?

Is modern-day American society more or less politically correct than Europe?
Favourite answer:Each European nation sits in a different part of the political compass and maintains its own Overton window.
Even if you want to simplify things by just looking at the trends in the EU, sure you can identify some common neoliberal themes going on, but take one look at its parliament and you'll see neo-nazis sat at one end, communists sat at the other with everything inbetween .
You get nations in Europe that are highly tolerant societies that try their best to encompass people of all colours and creeds. Meanwhile there are other nations in Europe where it's almost acceptable to chat about how disgusting Africans look and suggesting that gypsies should all be gassed. America tends towards being more like the former than the latter.
