• Would you pay £10 for a burger, fries and a drink?

    Best answer: At McDonald's? No.

At a nice place with excellent burgers and fries? Yes. Although honestly, it's very easy to grill excellent burgers at home so I generally don't choose them in restaurants.

  • What is the difference between jam and jelly in terms of which one is Lumpy and which one is smooth?

Best answer: Jelly is smoothest, made with just the fruit’s juice. Jam is made with mashed fruit (think of jamming as many berries into a jar as you can). Preserves are even lumper because you don’t mash the fruit.

I live in New jersey and I have to say that we have fantastic supermarkets. Wegmans is a good example. It looks like something out of a futuristic film with balconies where you can take prepared food and eat it, like a cafe. The variety is simply astounding. Visiting Tampa / St. Pete recently on an extended business trip we shopped at the Publix and Winn Dixie. The deli department, for example was severely lacking. Even the small, privately run market in my tiny Pine Barrens had easily three times the variety. The Florida delis didn't even have liverwurst or Lebanon baloney. The NJ markets have two different brands of both. I just don't understand why fairly large supermarkets in major Florida cities are so lacking.
