I bought tickets from six flags for March 25th I couldn't make it to Arlington that day I asked them for a refund and on June 16 they gave me a refund for the amount of 83.58 dollars. Which was the full amount. On June 19 they deposited 8,358.00 into my account. They had already refunded my money so they shouldn't have been depositing money into my account and if they would of kept records of what they're doing they would have noticed that my money had already been refund. That was a mistake on their part. The money was deposit June 19,2018. That day I made some purchases because I thought my job had already paid me. I didn't check my bank app until June 20th in the morning when i saw that the money wasn't from my job I went straight to the bank and I withdrew the money June 20,2018. I took the money out so that it wouldn't get spend but by the time I withdrew the money it was already too late because a large amount was already spent later that afternoon my boyfriend, got a phone call from six flags about the money when I return the call the guy told me that a mistake had been done and that I needed to return the full amount I told them that I couldn't return the full amount because some of the money had already been spent he told me that I had no right to spend the money because it wasnt my money to spend and I told him that the money was in my account and I didn't know that it was there until I checked my app. He told me that It was theft

I have no drivers license or bank account. So offering up a service or selling things online are not options. So do y’all have any realistic ideas?

  • Any benefit to convert a traditional IRA to ROTH for 80 yo with 1M$ balance?

Best answer: If you convert to a Roth, you pay income tax on the ENTIRE balance this year. The primary benefit to converting is that there is not tax on FUTURE earnings in the account. At age 80, it is significantly less likely those earnings will be sufficient to make up for the immediate taxes. If you were 20 or 30, I would... show more

If you were 20 or 30, I would say make the conversion. At 80, you are probably just as well off keeping the plan you have.

  • I lost my job and am losing my mind?

I’m 20 years old and have no money in my bank account. I was just fired from my job and can’t pay my rent, can’t afford to eat, and I’m now $3000 in debt. My car will probably be repossessed in the next month. My rent is paid for this month but I put it on a credit card and obviously can’t afford to pay the credit card. I feel depressed too and like I am stuck in a rut. I’ve never been a depressed person until now. So I’ll probably end up homeless until I find another job and no my parents will not help me out. Has anyone else struggled like I have? How do I survive without food and shelter?

Obviously, being reasonable you can't just gamble your way to easy living, but even after 10 or 20 years of working; at your next job you still start at the bottom.

  • How much money did you have saved up in highschool for when you left for college?

Hey. I am a freshman in Highschool and was wondering what the average amount of money saved for after you move out is. Obviously my goal should be as much as possible but I want to make sure I’m on track if not ahead of what others may have saved. Thank you so much for your time.
