• Booking plane tickets for multiple people?

So me and 2 of my best friends are going on a trip in December, and I was wondering if we should all buy our tickets separately or if we should give one person our money and they buy it for all of us. We plan on taking Alaska airline and Idk if we can still get the same seats if we all buy our tickets separately

  • Cheapest way to move from Regina, SK to Vancouver, BC?

I will be moving from Regina to Vancouver soon and all I have with me are 6 luggages that weight approximately 80lbs each, a dining table, a desk and some other smaller items. What would be the cheapest way to move? Time required to arrive isn't an issue.

  • Do I need to print my itinerary for a flight?

I booked a flight, and I was sent an email saying "This page can be used as an E-ticket. Before travelling, print a copy of your itinerary and take it with you!" That sounds contradictory. Can I just show them the E-ticket or do I need to print it?

Best answer: Sometimes an airline is having a promotional sale. Maybe an airline is opening a new route and wants to generate a buzz. This happened once when we booked an international flight. I was thinking because the airline was just starting that route, maybe the ticket prices would be lower and guessed right. Other times the airline may notice that sales for a particular route is having weak demand and they want to encourage people to fly that route and discounted tickets. Southwest Airlines made news a number of times in a bad way and they ended up having fare sales to encourage people to fly with them again.

As for finding cheap promo fares, sometimes subscribing to the airline's fare alert will help. Also airlines will sometimes advertise fare sales on websites such as Yahoo. The best way to get a lower priced ticket is to travel during off-peak travel season and be flexible with your dates of travel.

  • Why do waitresses in the sky make so much money?

I am a skilled professional and make less than flight attendents while performing much more demanding work. There is nothing about their job that I cannot do. Anyone can serve drinks and demonstrate safety equipment while smiling like Vanna White. Did I chose the wrong profession?

Is there any danger of that happening? Because if there is then I am going to stick see to not ever seeing her even though she is my favorite cousin.

Just 2 weeks ago I came back from a rigorous trip abroad. Today, I m taking a connecting flight which lasts 10 hours total travelling time. A direct flight would have only been 6 hours but no. He doesn t even consider that I feel ill while travelling and don t want to overtire myself. Staying one night, the next day another 9 hour flight to somewhere else. This is way too much travel and it s not like we re staying for a holiday in a hotel or something. We re staying at my dad s friend s house where I feel rly uncomfortable. So he tries to get cheaper flights, free accommodation and what not!? I don t even know if it is his fault or not but I m really angry with him because he knows very well that I have a phobia of flight travel.

  • Can I wait in the airport after my plane lands? My plane lands two hours before my friends can I just wait for her there?

Best answer: Sure, after collecting your luggage, find a suitable place to sit and wait for your friend, I'm sure they will be able to call you to confirm where you are, some airports have coffee shops and cafes in the arrival lounge, but don't overstay your welcome.

It can be a chartered flight. They can use a commercial flight but usually the flight schedule is not good for the teams needs. If they do not have the funds then by chartered bus. Junior league teams may own their bus or two.

For a very long distance like around the world they might use commercial flights and just purchase lots of the seats.Sometimes ALL of them.

LEAGUES usually have an arrangement with a specific travel supplier that the individual teams share.they get a better rate the more teams that use the same supplier. Often the travel supplier needs to bid each year for the contract just after the schedule of games is figured out.

A large company like Delta has set aside some planes for Leagues. They are fitted out very nice and charge a premium price and provide premium service. The Airline and league figure out where and when the plane goes. They have in place plans for things like an overtime game , a rain delay or whatever might happen to disrupt plans made months in advance.

Team may make their own arrangements getting to and from the Airport.

While in some city they will use local resources for things like to and from Hotel and from hotel to place the game is played.Usually a charter bus. It might be arranged by the league.

Hotel chains will also desire to have the teams and bid for the business of the league.

One or two people at the League Central office may do these arrangements for all teams or team may designate a person that just does it for their team.

This is a normal thing for a travel Agent that deals with group booking.

The Airline or Bus company can also have a few staff dedicated to the league's travel needs.

The team equipment may go by truck separate from the humans.
Going directly from one arena to the next usually after it is washed at the host teams facilities.
the visiting team may have staff to set up the team stuff before the team arrives in the locker room.

Sometimes the host team stadium staff lend a hand with the equipment and players gear bags.

Your local youth team might have parents responsible to get players to a nearby place.

As no one knows which teams may be in the last few games of the season pre booked space is just cancelled for teams not needing service. The suppliers like the Airline and Hotels know this happens and have planned for it in their bid for the business.

I'm tight on cash but I really wanna do something special and this will mean loads to him. But I've never booked or flown anywhere before, so I have a few questions that I'm hoping a more experienced flyer could answer! What Month/Time/Day is cheapest to buy tickets? What months are the cheapest to fly during? Like the dead zones and everything, I mean. What are the cheapest airlines? How can I save money while flying and booking? Do you have any personal tips or life hacks? Thanks, so much!

I am going to England for about a month around Christmas, and I live in OKC. And getting driven by a friend is not an option, as the few people I know who might be able to drive 4 hours on a workday are unfortunately occupied.
