I hope you don't have the experience. My lunch cost $90 after tax, over $100 after tip.

  • Why in the usa, if you eat at a fine restaurant, you pay twice and after you consume the food?

Meal plus gratuity. At Burger King, you pay before you get the food and no tipping is required

  • Have you ever had a bad experience at Denny's restaurant?

Best answer: Hmm, not me personally, but I deliver food through Uber Eats and Postmates, and while I was doing that, a Denny's I was delivering for I could tell was doing terrible service. One of the cooks didn't seem to care and a waiter had to always send the food back because it was done incorrectly each time.... show more

Don't judge the whole chain after one experience though. Even if it's the first time I went to a restaurant, I don't judge it based off the first time. I usually judge it off of several times going there, and if it's consistently bad, then I give a terrible online review.

  • Which restaurant I should go to?

I'm turning 18, and I want to go out to a fancyish restaurant, where I could invite my friends and wouldn't be sooo expensive.(We are a total of 6). I live in south east Florida (near Miami) if that helps 😂😊

Just for fun, that $0.65 Big Mac is equal to $3.87 today. Also, as another fun tidbit of information, the Big Mac is sometimes used as a standardized commodity to compare the value of international currency. This is because the Big Mac is exactly the same all over the world which means you can compare how many Big Macs you can buy for a specific amount of any currency. It's called the "Big Mac Index" and it's actually pretty interesting.

There were only 5 of us. So my friend asks a manager about it and he goes "It's mandatory for parties of 6 or more but anything less, it's at the waiter's discretion to decide." (this was not written on the menu) Umm wtf does that even mean. Like how can the waiter determine who to add gratuity on and who not to for parties under six? Would this offend you or am I overreacting?
