• Is there such a thing as a rose grove? Like a grove of roses? Or am I just stupid?

Best answer: "Grove" refers to a group of trees, not bushes. There are rose gardens, but not really groves. And no, you don't appear to be stupid.

  • Is this a fair deal? Repair store lost my camera...?

I gave my camera to a repair store after a problem with the lens. Paid the 25$ evaluation fee, then it was supposed to cost 200$ to fix it. I thought they had to order the part and fix it in shop, but they decided to send it to Canon to be fixed. They said it would take 3-6 weeks. At 7 weeks they told me got lost... show more

At 7 weeks they told me got lost in the mail back from Canon so now they don't have it anymore. They offered me 150$ as the used value of the camera. I bought the camera for 350$ a year and a half ago. I haven't been able to find the camera online for less than 250$ used off amazon (they don't make it anymore). Is this a fair deal? I am not sure as haven't had anything like this happen before. I just feel kind of annoyed about it, especially now that its been two months

Best answer: Give them their money back if you don't want to get a bad reputation.

Also, what format is your ebook? If I was buying an ebook, I would not want a PDF. A PDF is not really readable on an ereader or a phone because PDF's cannot reflow their lines to fit on a small screen, the user cannot control the font size, etc.

I also would not want an EPUB format ebook because I own a Kindle which cannot read EPUBs. If I bought an ebook on a random site, I would want it to be offered as PDF (for those who will read it on a computer), and MOBI and EPUB so I could choose the format my ereader device accepts.

Also, if someone is claiming something is an EBook, I would not expect something the length of a pamphlet.

IMO - Give their money back and make it clear what format(s) of ebook are available and how many words it is.
