  • Is it morally unethical to re-wrap and give an alzheimer's patient the same gift for every occasion, including their birthday and christmas?

Best answer: Good question! If the gift brings them joy, I don't see a problem. You want to make the person happy with a thoughtful gift. That's what's important.

Expensive hotels and restaurants may near the equivalent of UK & USA, but you can get a good hotel or meal etc. for a fraction of that. eg. A really cheap one can be about £6...

A 30 minute taxi journey may be a pound or two.

Flight costs are down to costs where you live.

  • What should I get my sister for her 13th birthday?

She already has most things that she wants. She is getting a new phone for her birthday. Her room is very small so I can t really buy her anything that will take up too much space. She spent about £30 on my birthday last year. She loves dance. Her favourite colour is rose gold.

  • My brother is going to be 12 in March and i don't know what to get him also my sisters birthday is in May and I'm not sure what to get her?

Best answer: Kids that age would be extremely excited to receive cash. If you are old enough, you can take them to the store and they can pick out their own gifts with the budget you gave them. My nieces and nephews loved when I did this for them around that age.

When I was still working, I had a day at home first, for packing e.t.c. then when we were home, I had a couple of days to unpack, do the laundry and stock the larder. The return to work felt much less fraught!

  • Don’t you hate New Year’s Eve?

I really hate New Year’s Eve, it’s just so annoying because everyone says they’ll change but they don’t. I absolutely just hate it, it makes me feel nervous I don’t know why. Not because it’s a new year though. Does anyone else feel the same? Just all the fireworks and things and people countering down aghhh hahah
