• Is Northern Ireland a country?

Best answer: It is variously described as a country, region and province. It is what is left of what was once the entirety of the island of Ireland which was once entirely a country of the U.K. Now only Northern Ireland is a part of the U.K. and the rest of the island is the Republic of Ireland, a separate country.

I found the scenery near the Giants Causeway as beautiful as the Cliffs of Moher. Book a tour from Belfast 20 pounds). That said, the south has a lovely atmosphere so I'd try and get to the cliffs if I were you.

  • Is Northern Ireland a good place to live?

I'm in my early 20's and have saved up quite a lot of money and was drawn to the housing prices in Northern Ireland. I'm just wondering, is it a good place to live? Considering low prices usually mean high unemployment.
