• Should people who support Israeli interests over the UK's be allowed to vote in UK elections?

Best answer: Some say the rot set in when the 'little people' were given the vote. Before that you had to be a property owner or someone with a stake in the country??? Oh, and they had fake parliamentary seats too....

Best answer: No. The posts you refer to come from spam bots, but one or more humans are programming them. It was originally thought they were being paid by the company they are posting for, to enhance search engine optimization for that company, but then the content of the spam changed and it seemed less likely that was the case. It appears they added a lot more English text (at least to some posts), and that may be why the filters are no longer even slowing them down.

We don't know when or if Yahoo-Oath be able to get rid of them completely, although whomever is running YA’s Facebook page has commented multiple times in the Yahoo Answers Users Facebook group that the problem is being worked on (they were successful in stalling it briefly, but the 'bots keep getting through the filters they set).

All we can do is report them, ignore them, or leave YA. The posts are ALL OVER the site. Hopefully they will be completely dealt with soon. The site started being heavily flooded with them the weekend of 7/7/18.

  • Why doesn't Yahoo Answers remove a rude answer that I reported a couple weeks ago?

Best answer: The reason is that your trust level isn't high enough and it takes a few more people reporting before it would be removed. Most people will not report it because they were not rude to them.

Some people are rude because they are very brave hiding behind a computer screen.

It takes large amounts of strength and energy. And I don't have that kind of strength or energy because I am not a tomboy or a man. I am a weak woman. I don't like baseball, basketball, soccer, football, softball, dodge ball, tennis, volleyball, hockey, bowling, pool, ping pong, or golf. I am unpopular and I don't participate in cheerleading. I don't know how to do a backflip or a cartwheel. I don't know how to ride a bicycle or a scooter. I don't know how to rollerskate or skateboard. I don't know how to swim or surf. I don't know how to ski or snowboard. I don't know how to ice skate. I am not flexible and I don't participate in gymnastics. I don't participate in boxing. I don't participate in wrestling. I don't participate in track and field. I don't like comic books. I don't play video games, I don't play online games, I don't play trivia or puzzle games, I don't play board games, I don't play card games. I don't dress like a guy and I don't hang out with guys. I prefer reading children's fairy tale storybooks, watching Disney Junior TV Shows, and listening to music on my phone. I am very feminine.

There are "rate me" type websites online for you to post photos on (rateme.com, hotornot.com, for example). This site was supposed to be for useful information, not opinons on people's looks (which also opens up those types of photos to getting some unkind comments as well).
