• Windows XP Professional system restore ?

I start my computer in safe mode with command prompt and it’s not giving me the option to type in the restore code. It’s just blank black screen with safemode written in each corner. If I start it regularly and try to run cmd it just restarts my computer. Help me

That said, it's hard to find a more worthless piece of cr@p than Mcafee.

Fortunately there are many alternatives - and many of them are actually free.

I personally like Avast (avast.com) It's effective, and doesn't bog down your computer. Avast offers additional features if you want to upgrade to their paid version but the free version has been sufficient for me.

AVG is another free anti-virus scanner which also provides additional features if you upgrade to the paid version. Friends of mine have used the free version for years with no problems.

Malware Bytes started out as a free malware detection and removal program - which I suggest you also download. However it now offers a paid subscription version which includes an anti-virus scanner. I highly suggest you download Malware Bytes even if you don't use its anti-virus feature. It's very effective at detecting malware (which anti-virus programs don't detect) and if you do get infected, it can remove them.

This skill set includes designing commercial buildings and residential homes on a software called SketchUp. Every time I try to reach out to a company for this reason, I get rejected because I am still a student without a degree. How can I get a company’s attention and/or use this skill to make money?

    Windows computer startup error?

Best answer: The graphics card is fine. You have (at least) two other problems on this 10 - 12 year old desktop. 1) "Keyboard failure": The external keyboard is either broken, or not plugged in. 1) "Keyboard failure": The external keyboard is either broken, or not plugged in. Try another keyboard.

    2) The CMOS backup / clock battery is dead. You can live with that for awhile: when you get this screen, hit "F2", and set the clock in the BIOS setup. Then, select "Save & Exit". That's going to look weird if you haven't seen it before, but don't let it scare you.

If you really want to use this fossil, replace the CMOS backup / clock battery. It shouldn't be hard.

Don't give up. You CAN get into this machine.
