• How far have Prince Charles' plans for a Manxbiter Nature Reserve on the Isle of Man progressed, currently only three of the creatures exist?

Best answer: Unfortunately, it's still only a germ...of an idea, e.g, how many public conveniences would be needed for them to reproduce? Should they be fed, or just leave them to forage in the dustbins as they do in the wild? You see, it is no easy task, let's just hope they become extinct before the reserve is built!

  • Will Democrat Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke succeed in buying the US Senate seat now held by Republican Rafael Edward Cruz (R-TX)?

At present, the photogenic young man (Dems LOVE their photogenic young men! lol) has raised $62 million to the not-so-photogenic Cruz's $28 million raised. That's a 121-percent advantage, and ought to guarantee the pretty boy a US Senate seat. But...will it?

Best answer: San Marcos, Kerrville, Corpus Christi. You will have to determine what you want on the too hot, too cold, too humid, too dry scale and find the area that you like on a seasonal basis. You have a lot of subtle factors based upon who you are and what you want that determines the best place to live. For example, having been born in Siberia, I do not like cold weather and consider anything much further north of I10, like Dallas, extreme winter weather. Likewise, I like the ground covered in grass with trees. That means some humidity, but to the west it gets dry quick. I would suggest you come down and drive the roads in the summer and the winter and get an idea of the weather extremes (there is always some place where it is better) and get names and numbers for jobs.

Best answer: Depends on what you are seeking. Dallas (as part of the larger DFW area) is much larger and is really a cluster of cities with Dallas and Fort Worth as the anchor cities. Having been in both, I think DFW is a bit more cosmopolitan. Atlanta is more "Southern" whereas DFW has more of a Southwestern and Great Plains feel to it. Both get hot in the summer, but Atlanta is far more humid. Atlanta has a better transit system and DFW is only now really starting to talk about a regional transit system which covers several cities--not just Dallas or just Fort Worth. Demographically, Atlanta has a blossoming African American middle class, whereas DFW is more Latino in its flavor. Both have good universities, both are far more progressive than the state governments with whom they have to co-exist.
