Best answer: San Marcos, Kerrville, Corpus Christi. You will have to determine what you want on the too hot, too cold, too humid, too dry scale and find the area that you like on a seasonal basis. You have a lot of subtle factors based upon who you are and what you want that determines the best place to live. For example, having been born in Siberia, I do not like cold weather and consider anything much further north of I10, like Dallas, extreme winter weather. Likewise, I like the ground covered in grass with trees. That means some humidity, but to the west it gets dry quick. I would suggest you come down and drive the roads in the summer and the winter and get an idea of the weather extremes (there is always some place where it is better) and get names and numbers for jobs.

Best answer: Depends on what you are seeking. Dallas (as part of the larger DFW area) is much larger and is really a cluster of cities with Dallas and Fort Worth as the anchor cities. Having been in both, I think DFW is a bit more cosmopolitan. Atlanta is more "Southern" whereas DFW has more of a Southwestern and Great Plains feel to it. Both get hot in the summer, but Atlanta is far more humid. Atlanta has a better transit system and DFW is only now really starting to talk about a regional transit system which covers several cities--not just Dallas or just Fort Worth. Demographically, Atlanta has a blossoming African American middle class, whereas DFW is more Latino in its flavor. Both have good universities, both are far more progressive than the state governments with whom they have to co-exist.

I m 23, didn t go to college, no major responsibilities, have a good amount of waitering experience, and I m gay (but can respect all religious opinions as long as people aren t legitimately hateful) Lol. I m looking to move outta my small, seasonal town come next Summer and I want a drastic change. Please don t suggest Austin btw, I was there a few months ago and wasn t a fan. I wanna see cowboy boots, cowboy hats, belt buckles, and crosses. Not drunk college kids stumbling everywhere and live rock music blaring out of every bar on the strip. I love to party but not to that extent. I went to San Antonio though and did like it!!! I ve been looking into Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston, but strongly leaning towards Dallas. Thanks guys!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
