  • Are these majors as bad as everyone says?

It seems like regardless of the major I google, everyone says it's the worst and they regret it. Education, social work, communications, theatre. These are a few of the majors I've looked into. Are they all really this bad, or is it that no one is happy with what they have?

I did well in history in high school but because now I'm in college I have to write essays on tests and I'm terrible at doing this because I'm not fully understanding the material. I'm good at math and science and do ok in English but am not good at history because of the struggles I had. When I said this issue to someone they said that Engineers don't struggle academically and I argued I have the necessary skills of math and science. This statement that someone brought must mean they are good in all there subjects in school. While it is important to have a well rounded education, be able to apply writing to different areas because Engineers have to be able to write including history for practice, and be able to get good grades in all subjects, I do not see why being bad at history should stop me from being a good scientist or engineer.

He bashes me in front of the whole class saying how bad I'm doing but won't give me ANY credit for the things I'm doing well. I get all my work done and even reach out to other students to give and get help. I also work very well with others. There doesn't seem to be a reason fro these attacks but he only does this to me! I have no idea what to do. He talks to me like I'm stupid and like I'm a failure. Then he will move on to another student and tell him how great they are and how they will go places.... I'm working so hard and putting all of my effort into this class. I'm so sad and embarrassed. What the hell do I do?!

  • Is this correct?

I’m in college and final grades came out. I was waiting for a few days for one last grade to be posted, however, I had 2 D’s, 1 A, 1 B, 1 C and my gpa was a 1.95. After the last grade was posted, which was a C, my gpa was still a 1.95. Is that right?

I'm currently doing a Bachelor of Commerce at uni and I've just finished my first year. It really isn't what i thought it would be and I'm not really enjoying myself. I've already failed 2 of my subjects, meaning i will probably have to add another year to my degree. I really don't think this is what i want to do and i have considered changing degrees but there's nothing that really interests me enough to do it. Personally, i really want to leave uni and study a cert 2 and 3 in animal studies at TAFE, and maybe at some stage become a vet as animals is something I'm really passionate about and feel like that would be the perfect career path for me. I was also thinking of volunteering at RSPCA to get some experience while i study (if I do study it). Everyone keeps saying i'll regret dropping out, and that a commerce degree can lead on to a variety of jobs but it just isn't what i thought it'd be, and uni is something that's been causing me a lot of stress and anxiety and i feel its just not suited to me. And i feel like now would be a good time to do it rather than keep going and waste more money only for me to drop out later. What should I do?

Along with economics and law. Liberal arts defines the traditional college curruculi that have existed since the medieval ages. These include the social and physical sciences, mathematics, literature, and philosophy. These were called liberal arts because they were considered necessary arts to master for a learned man. It has nothing to do with being a modern liberal or actual art, though many colleges now include any non-technical degrees and courses in their liberal arts programs. BTW I have a business degree so I am not STEM or liberal arts.

Best answer: Law is country-specific. US law degree only applies to US. Useless anywhere else. You will have to establish your career as an internationally renowned actor, and then your agent get you a contract to appear in a production in another country, before your producer could apply for your artiste visa. You would only be allowed to remain long enough to complete your role in the production.

A university degree from a reputable & accredited university is accepted as a degree. But that does NOT qualify you for a VISA!
