  • Can you plug an extention cord into another one?

Best answer: Yes, but if the item(s) to be powered draw(s) a lot of current, beware of voltage drop.

Make sure that the voltage at the appliance end of the cord
measures at least 110 (220 where applicable) with the appliance(s) operating.

Larger wire (lower AWG number) is always better.

  • Agree or Disagree? I shouldn't buy an expensive drone that cost $450 until I buy at least 1 drone for $100 & practice using it till I feel?

    Best answer: Disagree.

Step 1: Confirm your homeowners or other insurance will cover your liability for any damage or injury caused by your UAV.

Step 2: Search and read up on "drone flyaway" and get comfortable with the possibility that your UAV will fly away on its own, never to be found - possibly causing damage to property for which you will be financially responsible. Or maybe it will hit someone or something and cause injury or death. It is also possible that when it crashes, the battery will be ejected and cause a catastrophic fire.

Step 3: Purchase the inexpensive UAV to learn basics and follow instructions including registration and allowed flying environments.

$450 is not an "expensive drone". My $1,300 drone was not an "expensive drone - and it flew itself into a post. Just moments before it was at about 200 feet... I brought it to about 3 feet and it took off into the post. Props broken, but otherwise undamaged. I considered what could have happened if it had flown away at 200 feet + 15 minutes flying time... and decided it was not worth it.

By my estimation, ~20% of consumer-grade UAVs flyaway all by themselves. "Learning to use one" is the easy part.

I know it needs to be grounded to work but im not sure exactly if i can use the magnetic mount in my house. I have a 12 volt ac to dc adapter run to the cb and it seems to work fine but the lights do dim a bit when i key the mic. Is there any way i can get the cb to work with the magnet mount antenna. Could i just ground the antenna to the actual ground or what do i have to do. I dont really want to make a huge inverted v antenna, that would upset the family haha

  • How do I fix faulty electronic piano rubber buttons which play music for the keys?

Best answer: There are repair kits for the carbon pads on rubber buttons.

However, you could use aluminium tape
if you can cut a small-enough piece and get it to stick to the broken carbon.
A long time ago I did that, and the problem never occurred again.

Replacement pads should be available if nothing else works.
