Last question about this before I bite the bullet and pay several hundred dollar to get it fixed. I thought that an alternator either worked or it didnt. I have a 2004 ford escape and although my battery light stays on most of the time, it gets me from a to b without issue 99 percent of the time. Twice in 2 weeks, though, my alternator stopped charging and I broke down. I ve tested multiple times and the alternator was charging, but both times I broke down it wasnt charging and I was running off battery only. Does this sound like normal behavior or does it sound more like a bad connection somewhere? The connection to the battery is clean and tight, but the alternator is so hard to get to that I can t really tell if all else is good. Thanks for any assistance

So I'm wondering why the car steering wheel shakes at high speeds then could it be just cause I have cheap tires? The ride is very smooth other than at 70 mph up ish. It's a 2002

Best answer: Those cheap brown cotton gloves they sell for cheap are ideal. In cold climates it is self-explanatory but also everywhere else it protects your hands from those bloody bleeding accidents which always happen. However, it cannot be about cleanliness of the hand because you must remove the glove for some sensitive operations. But 90% of the time the gloves are fine.
I have also been known--in medical emergencies-- to clothe the hand in latex glove with cotton glove outside. They sometimes tear.
They make expensive lotion to put on your hands to make them easy to wash off. All it takes is some waterless cleaner and a brush. For your hands. You can eliminate the dirt on the engine if you work on it enough with kerosene or engine cleaner and the high pressure hose.
Once you get it clean then when you change your oil you just wipe its *** and all is well that ends well. You have a clean baby.

  • Why do new cars not come with a carburetor instead of fuel injection?

New cars only come with fuel injection...and as someone who works on vehicles carbs are not only easier to work on, but much cheaper to service and tune correctly.

  • Should I change transmission fluid on nissan altima 2015? It got 63k miles?

Best answer: Flushing is running fresh fluid through the transmission until only fresh fluid remains in it. Changing the fluid is only draining the pan and refilling the transmission. Both operations should include changing the transmission filter.
