  • When can we 21st century borns be president?

Best answer: The oldest person born in the 21st century is 18 years of age. The minimum age to be president is 35, so no one born in this century will be old enough to run for POTUS until the year 2035 arrives (2036 will be the first election where those born in 2000 and 2001 can run for POTUS).

When choosing a backpack make sure that 1. it's big enough to fit all your supplies and 2. it's not too bright or colorful. Having patterns on your backpack might not go with every outfit you have, so sticking to a solid or basic color is a smart idea. Obviously, if you love a patterned or colorful backpack, then definitely go for it! I just personally like plain backpacks so that they don't clash with outfits and so that they don't attract too much attention.

    Hope this helps a bit!

Best answer: I just finished year 11 (1 week 3 days until results...) and I really wished that I hadn't panicked so much from the beginning, but there are things that are very useful to do throughout the year!

    1. Do homework on the day you get it, except for essays which you should plan on the day you get them (nice detailed plan!) then write either at the weekend or on an evening when you have lots of time.

    2. Make science (etc) flash cards as you go along (not essential but you will love me for suggesting it when it gets to February!)

    3. Don't avoid socialising for the whole year, prioritise work over other stuff from maybe March or April, but the rest of the year going out in the evening will be fine. Even in March and beyond going out every so often will help decrease stress, though obviously it should be a little less than previously!

    4. Eat breakfast every day. It seriously helps (even for people who say they don't notice it helping!)

    5. Revise for mocks as you would for real exams.

I want to skip one day to wait in line for a concert but my dad straight up refuses, telling me that "I ll thank him later for it". He acts like it ll be the end of the world for my education. I ve probably skipped 4 days of school in my entire 10 years of school. Would your parents let you skip a day of school?

  • Am I old for 8th grade I'm 14 starting 8th grade tomorow I had my birthday on August 9th and in my state August 1st is the cut off.?

The only side-effect here is that you'll generally be the oldest in your class unless another student was held back a year for some reason (putting them at 14-15 by comparison) OR somebody was born closer to the cutoff mark (like Aug. 2nd).

Best answer: I answered your other question- yes, you're going to be almost a full year older than some of the other students in your class. You're going to be 18 when you start your senior year. That gives you some advantages- you'll be driving before your classmates, and you'll have more cognitive maturity, which might help to make you more successful in school. But there's also a downside- your classmates will be less mature, and that could be annoying. I'm sorry about that. Aug. 1st really is early. Even in my state, the cut off is Sept. 1.

Best answer: I've been through this before and I promise you no one cares so don't be scared if you get lost. Just ask teachers where everything is and eventually you'll know your way around. I made friends quickly through my classes where we worked in groups and teams so you'll be fine. You have the next four years to make up for any mistakes you have so don't be stressed and have fun cause after all they're just people. I was one of those kids that was scared and shy and I wanted to just stay in the bathroom stall throughout the whole day, but I got through the first week and things were just fine and I knew where my classes were. It just takes time, but honestly pretend you're totally cool and not anxiety-filled cause that's what got me through it lol and that's how I figured out that no one was even paying attention to my awkwardness. By the way, joining a sport or some kind of club would be great right now that you're a freshman. That's one of the biggest mistake I regretted the most because it seemed that students who participated in sports had so many friends and I wanted to be them except I was awful at sports, but that's why you have four years to perfect one.

  • If the cut off date is August 1st for kindergarten and if my child is born on August 1st will she start at age 6 instead of 5?

Best answer: It may be different in your area, but where I am the cut off date states "on or before". You should be able to easily look that up.
