  • Inner voice is low?

hi everyone, someone did something bad to me recently and my inner voice is low now. I can hear it but it is quiet and low. I am speaking of the inner voice that guides our intuition and tells us what action to take. How can I increase the volume of my inner voice? Thank you

  • Do you accept that boys will always be boys? Girls must understand this and cloth modestly.?

Best answer: I do not accept that boys are so feeble-minded or lacking in self control that they cannot learn to avoid bad behavior, so I do not accept "boys will be boys" as an excuse for, well, much of anything. Other than possibly a preference for relatively rough or aggressive play (with consenting playmates). I... show more

Other than possibly a preference for relatively rough or aggressive play (with consenting playmates).

I agree that boys cannot be expected not to look at attractive girls or women. I agree that, if being so looked at bothers you, you should dress modestly. But if you don't object to boys getting an eyeful, I think you merely should adhere to general cultural standards of decency, which would mean covering your butt, genitals, and breasts on most occasions.

But I believe most boys are perfectly capable of learning that scanty clothing is not consent to either be touched, or to have sexual comments made about one. I believe any boys who are *not* capable of learning to keep their hands off girls who are dressed "immodestly" need to be locked up somewhere where they can't hurt decent people, and boys who can't learn not to make sexual comments about strangers in an obnoxious or intrusive way should be socially shunned until they figure out how to behave properly.

But this requires *teaching* boys that, in fact, no means no. That other people have a right to not be touched if they don't want to be touched (barring ordinary social touching, like handshakes or brushing against someone in a crowded space). That other people have a right to have their possessions respected. And so on. In other words, we need to *not* dismiss the boy pulling a girl's hair with "Well, that means he likes you", or "Boys will be boys", we need to tell him to knock it the <bleep> off. Ignore that kind of thing in kindergarten, and you're likely to end up with a teenager who thinks it's perfectly OK to grope his classmates, or even to commit rape, no matter how much they're wearing. Teach that kind of thing consistently, from day 1, and you'll likely end up with a boy capable of keeping his damned hands to himself even if a pretty girl parades naked in front of him.

  • Why can't I stop watching porn?

Best answer: You kids today have it too damn easy. When I was 15 and wanted to rub one out to some porn I had to sneak out of bed at 2am when everyone else was asleep; tiptoe into the garage where my dad's porn VHS tapes were, swipe one; tiptoe out of the garage and into the living room where the only VCR in the house was;... show more

Nowadays you kids get all the porn you could ever want through your damn video game machine. Unfair!

We are living in a world that encourages equality and that's how it should be, but I feel that certain people want to keep ''traditional values'' that only benefit women which is ridiculous. It’s like people make it seem like it’s only one gender that commits the crime. “Men are monsters and predators and women are helpless victims”. Why does society keep feeding on that stereotype. Every side and binary has its goods and bads. Women can be vicious too, I’m not being sexist. I’m just saying that trying to push gender equality, Callout people from both genders on issues cuz both genders are actually gulilty of doing f**ked up things.

  • Do people(women) have a responsibility to control birth?

Best answer: Both men and women have a responsibility to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies. If a child can not be taken care of PROPERLY, people - in the US, one community more than any other - have the absolute responsibility to NOT HAVE CHILDREN. Its COMMON fvcking SENSE- something that not all of us have

  • How to get over the fear of driving?

Best answer: You don't drive by yourself when you have a permit. You are permitted to sit behind the steering wheel. Read your training manual. It is printed right there. Best answer: You don't drive by yourself when you have a permit. You are permitted to sit behind the steering wheel. Read your training manual. It is printed right there. It scares me to think you are driving on the road alone on a permit and not realize that you are not insured.
You just got your permit...meaning you just learned how to balance on a 2 wheel bicycle. You need lots of practice before you can ride to the store a mile away and get some milk and ride it back.
. Permit is no different. You passed the written exam meaning you know what the signs mean and which side of the road you are suppose to be on.
. Now you need that exposure...by actually doing it. This is WHY a person with a valid D.L. sits in the passenger seat every time you want to practice driving. Your experienced passenger KNOWS all about driving(they can see, breath, chew gum, think, pick their nose all at the same time) You have not learned that yet. Just knowing all the controls on the car, or getting the feel of how big the car is around you>it is like a bulky overcoat< and you want to be able to park it without taking out the car on the left side or the right side or front and rear. You want to be able to position the car on the road - not riding on the center line nor riding in the bicycle lane. You want to be in the center of the road. This is what the practice is all about. Getting a feel of the size...and how it corners and how it stops. Stopping is VERY important otherwise you kill people or yourself.
. Chances are very good your grandparents have their Valid driving Licenses so one of them can ride with you in the front seat. THAT IS WHERE THEY HAVE TO BE for your PERMIT to be LEGAL, so insurance is also valid. They are in a position where they could grab the steering wheel out of your hands (should an EMERGENCY SITUATION ARISE) and take control of the car steering it out of the way of the situation. Your feet control the gas and the brake so when they yell "BRAKE!!..hard Gracie you do that.... or give it gas - you do that. They will steer it out of harms way.

BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE AN INTEREST IN DYING....that is understandable.

Then when the incident has passed by you get the steering wheel again and continue to drive. Can take as long as 10 seconds. Then it is over. You learned what NOT TO DO, and HOW TO GET OUT OF IT by watching Grampa hold the wheel and steer.

Closing your eyes or honking the horn does not apply the brakes.(never has & never will)

That is a pedal on the floor that YOU have control over. When he says STOMP HE MEANS STOMP. Nothing will break...but you will stop.

I am not saying something WILL happen while practicing, "but it could"

    >>>While I was practicing on my permit, it was in the winter and on snowy roads going to the ski hill. Going around one corner and the car fishtailed on the icy road into the snowbank. Took 3 seconds. I was not going fast but plowed into the soft snow. Actually faster than my dad could react. So we pushed the car out of the bank and continued up to the ski hill. I drove all the way. It did not happen again, but I was prepared for round 2 so it would not happen...by white-knuckle driving. It was a one time event, but I remember it. I have learned how to read the road and know the feel of traction(or no traction) on the tires. That was 35+ years ago...I never will forget it. You learn by experience.

You may not have any experience like that but maybe something different. You have to know what to do next to maintain control. That ONLY comes with driving experience. The more experience you get the less fear you got because you KNOW what to do to stay in full control.

If you are driving alone ON A PERMIT and a COP catches you. You lose the permit, you are charged with driving with no valid insurance as you do not have a Person with a valid DL riding shotgun with you, and at times they have either had the courts push up the age for your getting a license to the age of 21 or have taken away the car.

It is a serious OFFENSE. If you crash into somebody, then you are FINANCIALLY RUINED.

    Do I fear monger? YES.
Is it in the Driving Training Manual? YES. There the penalty is spelled out ...so it is written. You are screwed. No lawyer can save you.

You definitely do not want to go there.
