They didn t say much but I believe it s a warehouse. I use marijuana for back pain and insomnia. It helps me sleep early and wake up ready for the day. I was wondering if they would drug test me since I am only going to be working fulltime for about 3-4 weeks. No interview either, I signed up with an agency so they just find work for me around my area and I start right then. Thanks yo appreciate everything

I know walking off is terrible, but how much of an impact does it have on jobs for teenagers/young adults? Cause I know a lot of teenagers quit and go through a lot of jobs? I just want a job to be able to afford living. I’m worried I won’t find anything.

I recently resigned from my job and am one week into my four week notice period. I just discovered that they’re advertising my job as two full time roles, both with a higher salary than I’ve been getting. I’ve worked at the company for three years and have always worked super hard (which is proven by the fact they need two full time roles to cover my work!) so I’m feeling extremely hurt and unappreciated. I have a good relationship with my boss despite me not always agreeing with the way she treats others, and I was keen to leave gracefully and without rocking the boat, but this has really crossed the line for me and I don’t know if I should confront her about it. On one hand, there’s not really anything anyone can do to change the outcome, but on the other I also want her to know that she’s done the wrong thing and damaged a strong working relationship. What should I do?!

I've never quit a job before, so I just don't know if I said the right thing. My boss is super nice and me leaving has nothing to do with the people there so I just don't want to sound rude as I quit.

Hey, so I made a big mistake today at a job interview at Target. So the interview went really well, I ended up getting the job and they proceeded to give me an orientation date for the beginning of November. However, when asked if I had been arrested, I had said no. I was pretty nervous at the time, this is my first Job Interview and I had no intentions in lying or anything but I was arrested and put on probation at the age of 17 for assault. I made a mistake, I understand that but my question is, will affect me and will I possibly not get the job or is there any way out this situation I put myself in. I wanted to put that I have been arrested after, but I felt like I was too late. No rude comments please, just a guy looking for some answers. Please, and thank you.

I think it’s a hassle to job hop but it seems like that’s the only way to improve my situation. I’m pretty sure down the road I will continue to apply for better paying jobs after getting more experience.

I'm mediocre at a lot of things (work, hobbies, writing novells, dating etc.) And everyone I know has some kind of passion or hobby that they excel at. I even want to be a better person but somehow keep doing something that make others exclude me and distance themselves from me. Anybody got any input or thoughts to share? I'd appreciate it very much, thanks.

I've literally been fillng out job applications since i was 16. I applied for like 30+ jobs since and me living in Louisiana especially the part i live in its really hard because they seem to only perfer older people with work experience and they never call or email right away to let you know if they're interested or not. Luckily i got my first job in the beginning of this year in a city that i was only there for temporary. I only worked there for 3 months, i was a cashier at a local grocery store and did so well, i scan items pretty fast, i was able to help sell more than half of the total of a donation we had.i thought that i had work history that it would be helpful, I filled out many applications since I've moved back and still no email or calls for an interview. And im not even applying to professional type of job (only jobs like cashier at grocery store, fastfood restuarant, server etc) So now im trying to do a resume. I dont really know how to go about it because I've only had 1 job that lasted 3 months and a high school diploma from a school that basically is poor in grades and when in high school i did no extra activity like a club nor a sport. Besides cashier I've also done babysitting. Sooo how do i do a resume with my poor history.

I like the idea, but I don’t think I am able to be more in power of people at a pool, and tell them to quit doing whatever they’re doing. As I have never really been demanding, I have always been demanded..
