I have to prove that 1-(sin^2xtanx)/(tanx+1) - (cos^2x)/(tanx+1) = sinxcosx
Very confused about how I get from left to right, I have been at it for ages but cant seem to get it.
Have to use these to identities to get there:
Cos^2x + sin^2x = 1
tanx=sinx/cosx
Thank you for help.
