  • Boys names for Girls?

What do you think about using traditional boys names for girls? Is it okay? Or are they better as nicknames?

  • Could I make a Nazi soldier a sympathetic character?

Do you think a character who was part of the nazis in WW2--who did not participate in any war crimes but was still associated--could be a redeemable/ sympathetic character? Is it too much to want readers to side with him? In detail, he doesn't have any of the nazi ideals, he was in the army and only a minor member of the SS, and he didn't kill anyone but soldiers in combat. He is ashamed of being associated with the nazis and spends a lot of time trying to make up for what he did (or, I guess, what he DIDN'T do in terms of just following along). Is that okay, in your opinion, or too much?

  • Can a villain be the main character?

Could the villain- or at least, the person doing the wrong thing and will eventually be beaten- be an MC? And would they still be considerered an antagonist?

Personally, would you read a book like that? What sort of morality do you prefer in characters? Good, evil, or a grey shade of either?

  • What should I call my fictional school?

It's like 4am and I'm having a mental block of what I should call this fictional school in my book. Pretty much all you need to know is that it's a private boys school that's pretty posh.

    Thanks

  • Can you read the bible?

Okay, let me clarify before everyone attacks me with heavy books. I'm not religious and I don't know as much as I should about any religion. I go to a Christian school though so I know a bit. What I want to know is if people- you- can actually sit down and read the bible from cover to cover, like a novel? Or othe religious texts for that matter. Is it a Text that can be read like that or is it more for short readings like in church?

  • What do you think of these names compared their personalities (for story)?

For a story in progress, the ones with same last names are siblings (it's a complicated plot, but basically everyone has a sister or brother.) Do you think these names fit with the personalities and are they good names?

Morgan Leo- Tough, fighter, sarcastic, stubborn, expressive

Sapphire Leo- Smart, analytical, finds it hard to convey her emotions, leader

Zen Wright- arrogant, explosive personality, perpetually angry, underneath is broken (was abused) (I have to admit, this name was intended as a pun.)

Chase Wright- calm, collected, protective, serious

Michelle Kemp- indifferent, serious, thoughtful, often speaks in riddles and metaphors

Skye- Could this be a boys name?

Aka Wright- fighter, tough, crazy, mental

Alex Walker- calm, quiet, thoughtful, Pro Footballer

    Xie Xie Ni!
