  • Why do certain men feel the need to ask anti-feminist questions that they already have answers in mind for?

This entire category is filled with the same men asking lazily-worded "questions" that are just whining and complaining about how all feminists want to do is destroy men, and are just seeking validation from other people. Why ask a question that you already know the answers to? If you are asking a question to the public, why not be open-minded to all the answers you receive? What's the point of asking a question on goddamn Yahoo answers as a conversation starter for your spiteful, often uneducated, conversations riddled with basic spelling and grammar errors? Why not just get twitter? Half the questions here are just begging for other people to come and join in the b*tching and moaning about how awful women are, and honest questions are hijacked with comments of the same nature. Is there not some incel forum you could go and do this on? Have I triggered enough of you yet? Rage away, I'll try my best to reply to them!

  • What's the verb in this sentence: Sue and Ray are eating yogurt?

My 7th grade English teacher gave us this question, and he said the verb was yogurt. Yogurt is not a verb, so he's obviously wrong. 3 whole years later, people who were in that class still have arguments about it. A small minority believe "yogurt" is the verb, because that's what the teacher says. The rest of us are debating on whether the verb is "are" or "eating". I think it's "are". Who's right?

  • Thoughts on how to casually dress like a pirate?

So I've been watching pirates of the carribean constantly, because they're the only DVD I have. I decided that pirates always look awesome, but I don't know how to dress like a pirate without looking like an absolute idiot in public. I've already come up with a few ideas that are pirate-inspired:

-white button ups not buttoned all the way, tucked into high-waisted pants

-lots of layered necklaces and bracelets

    -wearing a cool bandana

-wearing my hair naturally wavy/curly to look all beachy

    -empire waisted things

Any other thoughts on how I can look like a pirate without looking like a jack sparrow cosplayer?

  • Can someone explain the hitting women back debate? ?

Ideally, nobody should be getting hit, but if a woman hits a man, why can't he hit her back? He has to defend himself, right? Isn't it sexist not to hit a woman just because she's a woman? If we really did have gender equality, men would hit women back in the same way they would hit another man back. If a man in a relationship is being hit by his girlfriend/wife, that's abuse. Why is it expected for men to sit there and take abuse, and it they speak up about it they're sissies, or not respecting women? If a woman mentions that her husband hit her, people would be swarming to tell her to leave him, and call the police, but if a man mentions his wife hit him, he's just told to suck it up. I consider myself a feminist, but a lot of other people who also claim to be feminists get unreasonably upset when the hitting women back debate is brought up. I don't understand how anyone could think that hitting a woman back out of self-defense is sexist. Isn't is actually sexist to not hit a woman solely because she's a woman?

  • How to lose 2” off my waist?

I’m 5’3, 127 lbs (overweight, I know). I have 36” bust, 35.5” hips, and a 28” waist. If I lose 2 inches off my waist and gain 1/2 an inch on my hips, I’ll have the exact figure of Scarlett Johansson. I do 45 minutes of cardio and 30mins of weights 4-5 days a week, and eat about 1200 calories a day, but I’m not losing weight. I don’t want to cut my calories any further, at risk of relapsing into my ED, and don’t have much more free time to add in more exercise. I just want to healthily lose those 2 inches. Any tips?

  • What size bra should I wear? ?

I’m a teenager who can’t afford expensive bras, and I haven’t bought new bras since 7th grade. Mine are all very tight (size 30B/C). I took my measurements, and around my bust is 36” (being very careful not to squish anything down) and around my chest/under my boobs is 29 inches. I put the numbers into an online bra size calculator and it said I should be wearing a 30DDD, but that doesn’t feel right. My boobs aren’t that big. Also if anyone knows where to get cheap bras online let me know.
