I bought 3 mallard ducks a couple weeks ago. They are about 5-6 weeks old. The one duck is starting to get the angle wing where it sticks out a little bit and isn't growing tight against the side. another duck has the droopy wing but it doesn't stick out. Ive researched and realized that the protein level in their food is too high. I am currently feeding them Purina Flock raiser. It says on the back for ducks 0-18 weeks old. But the protein level is at 20% and not the 14% which is recommended.
1. How can i fix the angle wing before it becomes permanent
2. what food should i feed them? (brand)2 AnswersBirds8 years ago

i have a 1998 ford explorer sport. my driver side door wont open. seems to be something wrong with the lock system. when i unlock the door the little nob doesn't pop out of the hole like it used to. normally when the door is locked you can unlock it by pulling the inside handle but that doesn't work, it just feels like the handle is going to break so i didnt want to force it anymore. has anyone had this problem or know what the problem is? and about how much it will cost to get fixed?4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
A 30-year-old female has had several episodes, each separated by several months, in which she experiences brief periods of physical weakness, clumsiness of the legs and hands, visual disturbances, and mood swings. Her weakness is most prominent in her lower extremities. CT scans show evidence of multiple lesions in the white matter of the brain and spinal cord. During her last episode, there were increasing neurological deficits due to an increasing number of disseminated lesions. Prednisone (60 mg/day for five to seven days) was prescribed and helped her return to as normal and active a life as possible.

Parents of a 3-year-old boy noticed that their son was walking "on his toes," had a waddling gait, fell frequently and had difficulty getting up again, and was not able to run because of the difficulty in raising his knees. At age five, there was progressive muscular weakness and muscle wasting. Weakness of the trunk muscles led to increased lordosis and a protuberant abdomen. At age nine, he was confined to a wheelchair. Contractures appeared, first in the feet, as the gastrocnemius muscles tightened.
1. This hereditary X-linked recessive disease characterized by progressive muscular weakness is .
2. What does dystrophy mean? Why is this term used to describe this case?
3. What muscles would be involved in walking "on the toes"? Which muscles are "weakening"?3 AnswersOther - Diseases9 years ago
