I want a big subwoofer
theres just no room to screw it on. I can't even screw an angled 90 degree elbow or anything. the outlet is just too close to the surface of the air tank.
I need some short flexible piece of hose or something.
What i'm doing at the moment is just screwing the regulator into the far end of the long hose right where the tool attaches.
and then attaching the tool directly to the output of the regulator. it's not the proper way to do it but it works enough to regulate the pressure.
Is there a solution to my problem without having to use a short piece of hose or something for connecting the regulator closer to the air tank output?2 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)2 days ago
it seems to work. only using up to 30 PSI since thats all I need but is this fine to do if I dont have any teflon tape? I just ripped a piece off a glove. and stretched it tight around the screw threads and screwed it in and it doesnt leak even a tiny bit. holds same air pressure overnight at 30 PSI3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs3 days ago
Would the gap between the molecules cause it to just spring back to a smaller size? or would it just collapse into a near-liquid or sand-like state where it just flows like many many particles?
What if instead the gaps between the atoms were filled in with more atoms to keep the object solid when enlarged? would it behave differently then?
this is all theoretical and just a curious thought.1 AnswerPhysics2 weeks ago

I've never even had it happen to me and ive opened thousands of soda cans in my life. all it does is make a hiss and release some air but nothing ever spews out.
How come it happens with bottled soda much more frequently? I always have to be careful when opening bottled soda because it bubbles up rapidly and quickly if im not careful?3 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks1 month ago
Dont care about 4k or high refresh rate above 60hz. so that also should cut down on the price.
1080p 60hz will be good enough for me if its cheaper.
How cheap of an HDR 1080p 60hz monitor could I get? And how does the price compare to an identical monitor without HDR capability?2 AnswersMonitors3 months ago
does 20khz sound low pitch to them? or is their brain simply capable of perceiving higher frequencies somehow? does their brain operate at a different rate? is their hearing response tuned in a different way such that frequencies scale and sound different to them?Physics3 months ago

they are getting at least 22v rms each which should equal over 100 watts and they barely moving. cant crank amp any further or theres distortion
they only start moving at 20hz and below
but nothing around 25 to 40hz barely at all
box is a dual separate chamber 1.8 cubic feet per sub 34hz tuning.
amp is 500W RMS rating but using computer power supply of 650W I set watts to sub with RMS multimeter and test tone to 22 volts rms for a bit of headroom for clean power they get very loud but barely move unless I stuff the ports with a blanket or something. then they move like crazy shouldn't they be moving MORE without the port blocked?2 AnswersCar Audio4 months ago
