  • Any reptiles or amphibians that don't eat live insects?

I'm a big fan of pet reptiles and frogs etc but I really don't want to get back into buying crickets again, are there any that eat commercial foods? I would prefer to have an amphibian rather than a reptile and I would want something that isn't too difficult to care for, so nothing too exotic haha

  • Cops busted my party, paraphernalia charge.?

Last night we were having a party at my new place, someone called the cops because they thought there was a fight. I answered the door before realizing there was a pipe on the table in plain sight, so when they asked to come in I decided to cooperate. Everyone cooperated with the cops and they actually let all the underage people leave and told me he would charge us with simple paraphernalia.

What does this charge entail? I'm 23 and have no prior charges on my record.

Why didn't he hand me a paper or make me sign anything?

How likely would it be to get this charge knocked down to something else considering we were very respectful of the cops and it seemed like he was just charging for the pipes because he had to?

  • iPhone Data plan confusion!!!?

I was looking into getting an iPhone but my mom doesn't want me to get one because she is afraid I wont be able to pay for the data plan while I am away at school and not working. I was wondering if the iPhone uses more data than a regular phone when you are only texting, calling etc.. Do I need a data plan if I use it like a regular phone for a couple of months?

  • How social are ferrets?

I was thinking about adopting a ferret and I was wondering. Will ferrets cuddle with you and interact with you? Or are they more likely to keep to themselves? Do they behave more like cats or like small rodents?

  • Red eared slider tank set up?

I have been considering adopting a red eared slider for a while now and I need some advice. I work at an animal shelter and plan on waiting for a small hatchling to come in for me to take since we do get them occasionally. I was wondering- What size tank would I need for a hatchling and how long would it take for him/her to grow out of it. My plan was to use a smaller tank until I save up money to get a larger one when he/she needs it.

Also, has anyone experimented with connecting two tanks together? ex- attaching two 20 gallons together by some sort of bridge? I was thinking about constructing something out of those aquarium toppers for small mammals... but the temp would be harder to regulate if I used those.....

PS- I do have experience with box turtles but this would be my first aquatic turtle.

  • How do I extract files from a hard drive that has been crippled by a virus and will not start?

Basically I got a virus and now when i try to start my computer I get the black screen with white letters that says "Windows did not start normally" and then it gives me the options to run it in different safe modes. But neither of them work because after I choose one, it goes to the big windows boot screen with the small bar at the bottom that scrolls while windows boots, but it just flashes up for a second, and then the computer restarts itself. It is an endless cycle. How would I go about getting the files off there that I know are not the virus? helppp!

  • How much space does a pet snail need?

I have to go on my internship for school soon and will be leaving my fish at home I was thinking about bringing a pet snail to school with me and I was wondering what is the minimum tank size I can house an apple snail in by itself. I know that apple snails can get pretty large so I would also like to know what other snails would be a good choice and how much space they need to be happy. Thanks!

  • Found wet bird outside?

Its raining pretty hard here and when I went outside I found a wet bird! He is laying on the bottom of the cage breathing hard I looked him over and didn't find any injuries or signs of illness. What should I do with him? Any ideas as to what could be wrong with him or is it just because he is wet?

  • Female bettas and other fish?

I have a 6.6 gallon tank that is currently housing 3 female Betta fish. They don't seem to be overly aggressive, I will rarely see someone nip a tail but that's about it. I was wondering if it is possible to house guppies in the tank with them. If not what other fish could I put in there?

Its an older movie in black and white. there is a man who wants to take everyone prisoner unless they play a certain instrument (I can't remember which one, maybe the flute?)
