I saw it on a sidewalk this morning while walking the dog (he ignored it). Light brown, about 12"/300mm long lying in a loose "S" shape. Definitley not a garter snake or copper belly as I've seen before in Ontario. After being prodded a bit with my toe it raised it's little head, opened it's mouth wide and struck back at the sole of my shoe. Repeated a few times whenever my shoe was within 3-4 " / 100mm of it. Inside of mouth was very bright reddish/pink. Went to find a jar to capture it but it was gone when I came back. Was this an escaped pet?2 AnswersReptiles1 decade ago

My older PC won't turn on, is it likely the power supply or that BIOS/RT Clock battery that is the problem?
No power lite on front, power confirmed at wall (mains) outlet. Pushing on/off or reset button doesn't do diddly. 1999 vintage clone desktop, had been working fine last week. Is is toast?5 AnswersDesktops1 decade ago
