My mom can't wear clip earrings anymore because they pinch her so now she doesn't wear earrings at all.
I thought I'd surprise her with a gift of magnetic earings which clip to the earlobe with one magnet on either side of the earring that holds it in place.
However, my mom is 77 and wears a hearing aid.
Could the magnets on the earrings interfere with the operation of her hearing aid? Would they have any adverse effect at all on the hearing aid? (It's in just one ear). Thanks!6 AnswersOther - Electronics1 decade ago
After I boot up my computer, the fan today sounded like it was struggling to get into gear and now it's humming, but it was louder earlier. Does this mean it just needs a good cleaning inside? Or oiling of the fan? Thanks!8 AnswersDesktops1 decade ago
I don't own a ring sizer, but wondered if I could use a flexible cloth measuring tape to calculate my ring sizes for my fingers. Does anyone know how to perform this? No metrics please.5 AnswersPhysics1 decade ago

I've experienced some S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) during winter months when there is less daylight. There is a special type of light now that provides the same light as the sun, and it is supposed to help people if they use these bulbs for so many hours a day. Has anyone tried this, and did it help? Do you recommend any?6 AnswersMental Health1 decade ago
I met a reflexologist many years ago and received treatments, and also became a massage therapist and gave treatments to others and continue to give treatments to myself (both hands and feet).
I have had reflexologists tell me that they had people with medical conditions which were considered hopeless by doctors, and then the reflexology treatments healed them.
Have you ever received a reflexology treatment? If so, what do you think of it? Do you believe it works?7 AnswersAlternative Medicine1 decade ago
I' almost drowned once while tubing in a river,
almost got my head squashed while sledding on
a metal disk, and was involved in several car
accidents (not my fault).
