Hi I'm a 27 year old femme, married to 26 year old homme. We have one son born in Jan 07 and between us we have a wealth of experience in many issues and strong opinions that we're not too shy to share on many others. We always like feedback - good and bad from similarly strong minded people. Lynne xxx
The one on the roofs where people are dancing. The singers a woman and its a bit ballad-ey. there's 2 different songs but they sound like they might be from the same singer. The lyrics go someting like "take the skies in your eyes and let them go"
I only ever hear the bit in the advert and its driving me nuts. its not train to skaville by the way - thats an earlier but equally irritating advert1 AnswerR&B & Soul1 decade ago
Hi, since Christmas I've had tummy cramps, swollen sore boobies, moodiness (According to him indoors anyway) etc - all the symptoms of the Time of The Month. I was due on 29th December but Aunt Flo never showed up. I'm still having all the symptoms.
Ive done a HPT (actually 4 different brands since 29th) but all defo negative. does anyone know any reason why i would not have a period but have all the symptoms BUT not be pregnant?
We are trying for a baby and i did have a brown smear about ovulation which i hoped might be implantation but apparently not. This long after missing a period i would have assumed a hpt would show if i was pregnant.
I dont like to just go see my gp cos "im running late" - he's not a tolerant man of "womens problems"3 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade ago
since ive known him my husband has always been a bit lax with the whole washing/brushing teeth business. When we started going our from being friends, he started to make more of an effort til about a year ago.
since then his brushing has gotten increasingly less often and now is at once a week for less than a minute and the smell seeps into his clothes within minutes of him putting them on. it hangs around him to the point where i cant bear him in my personal space because his breath turns my stomach.
ive tried buying toothpastes and mouthwashes just for him - its counterproductive. he expects the mouthwash to clear the bacteria and smell so brushes less often,
ive explained how the smell keeps me up at night, tried not pressuring him, tried pressuring him and i dont know what else to do,
its actually ruining our marriage for the sake of 4 minutes brushing per day
he went to the dentist last week and even he said his breath was terrible.10 AnswersDental1 decade ago
I bought a second hand copy of the urbz on ds today but it doesnt come with any instructions so im really not sure how to do anything.
can anyone give me a basic list on how to do stuff (controls etc) or point me to a site that would give me the opening leaflet.
Or better, if you wanna email me a copy of the leaflet email@example.com AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade ago
did anyone else go to mum and baby group to find they were surrounded by schoolchildren (literally) i was the second oldest mum (25) and had nothing in common with anyone there.
i have a lot of support from my family and my husband but feel like i have no friends as all my friends either live at a distance or no longer have anything in common with me - married, kid, budget, no more drinking (you see the point)
I dont want to sound self pitying as i have all my dreams come true. i just feel that local people my own age to share it with would be nice2 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade ago

I have posted before asking for pros and cons of different age gaps. We have virtually decided we are going to start trying for Bub #2. It took us exactly 2 years to conceive #1 so me probably wont fall straight away.
If we did then there would be 18 months between 1 & 2. What do people think of this? is it harder than they thought? how did others cope pregnant with a toddler?18 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade ago
my little boy had an MRI scan last week as he keeps getting a swelling above his left eye.
we saw a consultant yesterday who said he has a benign cyst behind the eye. it may grow but it wont shrink but they wont remove it til he's 2 years.
to be honest, i didnt take it all in so i called my health visitor to explain it and she's away til monday and i cant see anyone til then.
does anyone know anything about this type of thing? just in the meantime4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago

My son is 7 months old and my health visitor said i should have started him drinking from a cup (spout type thing)
His first tooth has just broken the surface and i dont know what type of cup or how to get him to use it. (how often compared to bottles do i give it to him and do i put milk or just juice in it etc etc?)

I had my son in January and the Depo injection in March. I decided to go on pill in may. had a pill period at end of May. After that I decided to give my body a chance to straighten out before taking more oral contraceptives but havent had a period since. I do occasionally have an egg-white style discharge which my GP says is ovulation but Im not sure. Im defo not pregnant (according to a home test and my GP urine test) but have had a constant period pain type ache and moodiness for last 2 months. any thoughts???4 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade ago

My little boy is now 7 months and my husband and myself have been discussing what age would be best to have a little brother or sister for him. It took 2 ful years to conceive Joseph and we're resigned to the fact he may be our only gift from God. We could start trying for another now and have when he's young enough to accept a new baby or we could wait til he's 4 or 5 and old enough to understand and not feel displaced. What do others think?24 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade ago
I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant, had a show 5 days ago and would like to know how much longer everyone else had to wait to meet their new baby.
Friday I started pains and contractions and phoned my local hospital who said it sounded like early labour and when the contractions resolved themselves to every 10 mins to give them a call about going in. They went regular to every 20 mins and then died away!!!!!
I tried to get an appointment with my local midwife but because we are a rural surgery I wont be seen til Friday unless I make an emergency callout so I have no idea if im dilated or effaced. the head has been engaged for 5 weeks now so I'm hoping not too long. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Also, I'm having constant back and tummy ache which do ease when I'm sitting down but come back with a vengeance when im standing up
Any Ideas?14 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago
