I bought a new Vizio SmartCast TV on November 24. It was working fine up until today when it cut off and I’ve been trying to turn it on for the last 3 hours. I unplugged it, switched outlets, made sure it was properly connected and nothing has worked! The light indicator is still lit, so I know it does have power, it is just not turning on.8 AnswersTVs10 months ago
If I moved out of my old apartment that my roommate and I used to occupy together but she stayed am I liable for the rent that is past due?
I was living on a month to month lease and I gave my landlord a 30 day notice. I moved out before my 30 days was up and returned my keys. My roommate who stayed, did not pay rent for the month that she was living there by herself and now I am getting letters about evictions with my name on it. I tried to contact my landlords to explain that I notified them and they told me since my name was on the lease I was still responsible. Are there any laws that say that I have to pay?11 AnswersRenting & Real Estate2 years ago
The complementary strands of DNA in the double helix are held together by hydrogen bonds: G (triple bond) C or A = T. These bonds can be broken (denatured) in aqueous solutions by heating to yield two single strands of DNA (see Figure 1-13a). How would you expect the relative amounts of GC versus AT base pairs in a DNA double helix to affect the amount of heat required to denature it? How would you expect the length of a DNA double helix in base pairs to affect the amount of heat required to denature it?1 AnswerBiology4 years ago
Not very good in this part of biology. These questions can have multiple answers. I put stars next to the answers I think it is.
1.(multiple answers) In Mendel's cross of 2 true-breeding pea plants that differed in two traits - 1 parent plant with round seeds and purple flowers, and the other parent plant with wrinkled seeds and white flowers - what types of gametes can be produced by the parent plant with wrinkled seeds and white flowers? (R = round = dominant trait; P = purple = dominant trait)
2. (multiple answers) In some cats, the gene for black fur (FB) is incompletely dominant with an allele for white fur (FW). The FW allele codes for a protein that can't produce black pigment. What would be the genotype of a cat that is pure black fur?
3. (multiple answers) What would be the genotype of the offspring resulting from the mating of a pure black cat with a pure white cat. Assume that the gene for black fur (FB) is incompletely dominant with an allele for white fur (FW).

Some of the questions have multiple answers. I don't fully understand genotypes yet and I keep getting these question wrong will be a great help
1.(only one answer)In a single-trait cross, 2 true-breeding pea plants were mated; 1 with Round seeds (R = round = dominant trait), and 1 with wrinkled seeds - the recessive trait. The genotypes of the 2 plants that were crossed would be:
a)RR and Rr
b)Rr and rr
c)RR and rr
d)R and r
2. (only one answer)In a cross of 2 true-breeding pea plants; 1 plant with Round seeds (R = round = dominant trait), and 1 plant with wrinkled seeds (the recessive trait), what percent of the offspring would have the heterozygous genotype?:
3.(multiple answers)Mendel crossed 2 true-breeding pea plants. 1 of the plants had round seeds and purple flowers, and the other plant had wrinkled seeds and white flowers. Assume that Round seeds = R (= dominant), Purple flowers = P (= dominant). What would be the genotype of each true-breeding plant?:
4.(multiple answers)Mendel crossed 2 true-breeding pea plants that differed in two traits. 1 of the plants had round seeds and purple flowers, and the other plant had wrinkled seeds and white flowers. Assume that Round seeds = R (= dominant), Purple flowers = P (= dominant). What would be the genotype of each plant in the F1 generation?

Okay I'm 17 about to turn 18 in 10 months(yes I'm already counting) and mom will not let me have a life. My mother is one of those old time caribbeans, so no boyfriends and I respect that. But my mom is TOO over protective if I do not call her as soon as I get out of school she becomes upset, and I do call her at 3 (I get out of school at 2:45) she will question me about why am I calling her so late. I wanted to go to the movies tonight and she said yes finally but she then told me that I couldn't go because the movie was to late (I live in New York city it never sleeps). And we recently got into an argument about me not calling her she said she losing trust in me (mind you I was with my friends and we grabbed a slice of pizza and none of them called their moms) and I told her that when I go to college you will not be able to clock my every move and she gave me the you live under my roof speech. Even if i have cook she will tell me i didnt really want you to light the stove when im not home. (Are you serious? Im 17) and when i try to talk to her she just keeps yelling. What should I do to let her know she can't keep treating me like I'm 10. Btw I even told her for my 18th birthday I'm staying in the w hotel, I'm paying for it and she said no you're to young!!!!! 1. write an equation of the line that is parallel to y=3x+5 and has the same y-intercept as y=4x-3
2. find the slope of a perpendicular to a line whose slope is: a. 3/4, b. 5/9, c. -2/3, d. 4, e. -3, f. 1 1/4, g. 1.
3. the vertices of a quadrilateral are (3,1), (5,6), (7,6), and (10,2). show that the diagonals of the quadrilateral are perpendicular to each other.
4. show, by using the formula for the slope of a line, that the points (-4,0), (-1,3), and (0,-2) are the vertices of a parallelogram.
If you can show me how your got the answers, so that i could get a better understanding to solve them
thank you !
1.write an equation of the line whose slope is 4 and that passes through s point on the y-axis 5 units below the origin.
2.Given points A (1,1), B (3,2) and C (K,4)
a using the coordinates of A and B, find the slope of AB
b.using the coordinates of B and C, express the slope of BC in terms
c. if A, B, and C are collinear, write an equation that can be used to find the value of K.
PS. can you please show me how you get the answers so that i can get a better understanding !
Please and Thank You

Problem # 12 The measure of the complement of an angle exceeds the measure of the angle by 24 degrees. Find the degree measure of the angle.
Problem # 17 The measure of the supplement of an angle is 60 degrees more than twice the measure of the angle. Find the degree measure of the angle.
If you can solve these 3 problems you are great and a life saver !
