  • What statistical test do I need to use?

Hello I have a list of animal catches for two different species at a number of different sites and want to know if there is a statistically significant correlation between the two species' abundances. The measurements are average numbers per site. Do I use spearman's rank/ pearsons correlation/ chi squared for asscociation?

  • What statistical test is required?

I need to compare a list of ratios to another to see if they are statistically different. Would it be easier to convert these ratios to percentages first? Many thanks :)

  • What stats test do I need to use?

I'm doing a school project- 100 dogwhelk shells measured at two different beaches (100 at each)

    Measurements taken:

    Shell length

    Shell width

    Shell height

    Aperture Length

    Aperture Width

Samples were chosen randomly, (Aperture is the shell opening) I want to compare the shell morphology at both beaches- test if they are statistically different. What stats test do I use and what is the best way to go about it? i.e. Trying to compare shall volume to aperture area ratio - but difficult to include a ratio in a stats test.:S Thanks a lot. :)
