• What do you think of 20 mph speed limits in built up and rural areas?

At the moment we have a 60 mph along the very narrow and winding lane I live in. You never know what you are going to meet around the next corner - a pedestrian, cyclist, a horse, herd of cattle being moved between fields or a motorised vehicle (in the summer months their are a LOT of tractors around).

The ambulance he was in was being escorted by Avon and Somerset Police with lights and sirens going. The Metropolitan Police REFUSED to let the Avon and Somerset Police into the area that they (the Met) control. As a result the man died on the operating table. They was a 50/50 chance he would have died anyway. Opinions please.

  • Street Parties for the Royal Wedding - should the Council's allow the street/road to be closed?

There is an item on the BBC Website saying that NO fees should be charged by Local Council's for the street/road to be closed. I reckon the fees should be £1000 for EVERY foot of street/road that is closed.

  • Who else thinks that suitcases on wheels, in the wrong hands, can be dangerous?

The bus that I totally RELY upon departs from the Local Bus and Coach Station. On a regular basis I have fallen over these suitcases, as the owners stop right in the middle of the only clear stretch of platform, WITHOUT looking to see if anybody is trying to get through behind them.

  • First Group Buses - Why do so meny people hate them?

First along with a couple of other Bus Companies have operated my local service over the last 15 years or so. First have ALWAYS been on time, the drivers polite and the fares reasonable. The other operators late, rude and expensive. I must point out that I RELY on buses, as due to health problems I had to give up driving.
