At my store, we have to get 7 credit cards per day or 35 per week. If on any given day we don’t get any, our manager has to make a call and send an email explaining why we didn’t get any or else the store would get in trouble. And just yesterday, my manager told me that our district manager is now saying that we have to reach our goals, or else anyone who doesn’t get enough cards will have their hours cut!!! But I always ask each and every customer, If I’m lucky, I can get 1 or 2 customers to bite, others either have it already, they know how high the interest rate is, or they have bad credit. What am I supposed to do, trick them into applying? Why would it be our fault if they say no, no matter how hard we try to convince them? What’s next? What if our DM decides to have any employees fired for not getting cards? Should I be worried?
