I know the basic definition of feminism - equality of the sexes that is. However there is a lot of controversy surrounding the theory.
I have some questions about it, however:
- Do feminists expect to be "treated like a man" or treated even more like a lady/"princess"? If a feminist was to hit a man would she expect the man to strike back at her?
- Does feminism mean that a lady can act/dress etc. in a masculine way, such as not shaving, being sloppy etc, wearing a suit to a wedding?
Where does the argument of feminism begin and where does it end? I am only asking from a place of lacking knowledge on the subject.
