In the wake of last nights shooting in Colorado, I was watching the CNN where they aired a 15 minuet segment about the evils of guns. Not one word was mentioned about the fact that someone had to aim and fire the gun(s). To me, this sounded like more brainwashing tactic by our government in a ploy to aid in disarming American citizens, and doing away with our constitutional rights to bear arms. It is absurd to think guns kill people. People kill people, and that is how it is. Although tragic, my heart goes out to victims and those directly effected. Another thing that amazes me, is a young woman shoots and kills a home invader. The victim is a repeat offender on parole for violent rape. Not one word was printed nor one moment aired in mainstream media about the event. This has happened numerous times without a whisper. Just the other day, a 71 year old man, licensed to carry, thwarted a would be robbery by two suspects(apprehended) without injuries. This sure went quiet fast. This Theater shooter, would not have tried this in a small town in Texas where 50 % of the population caries firearms. This city has the lowest crime rate of any city in the US. I feel this event is just more fodder for gun control, possibly making gun ownership illegal. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have them. Sleep well tonight.

This was never an issue before, and I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this. None of the help centers have been any help, and I have run out of ideas. I do a lot of 'studying' on Youtube, and it is just aggravating when the video briefly freezes every few moments. I have noticed darker video hangs more often than brighter video scenes. The more critical problem; My temporary internet files folder has bloated to consume all available space on the drive, often shutting down windows. At 15 gigabyte and growing,I can not access, delete, display,or manipulate any files/folders within this directory. My anti spyware has been useless, and my firewall minimally blocks some of the redirection in Firefox. I have tried a half dozen anti spyware programs without success, some have compounded the problem. I have even resorted to some very powerful disk tools like hex workshop, still no success. I would be most grateful if anyone knows what virus/malware this may be,and where I may find a removal tool or software that will delete these temp files. I am not a nubee to data recovery/virus removal, but this has me frustrated to the point of C-4 . (where's a good hacker when you need one)

The problem: I have a laptop also running XPpro that simply refuses to connect to the router. Symptoms; after entering the key,it progresses for a short time, then just quits without connecting or displaying any error. The lappy works fine on other wireless infrastructures, just not on my router. I have double and triple checked my router configuration, and keys needed to access it. I have also tried manual settings at the laptop with no success. If anyone has any clues as to solving this, I would be more than greatful TNX

Unable to stop the scanning, I manually disabled my network connection, and killed the scanning process with task manager. None of my security software indicates a change to the registry, but installed software and most windows software will not run unless forced, and does not function properly. Errors include "can't find rundll32" which is critical to software to correct the problem. The file is where it should be,and checks valid. Anyone know a recent virus or system problem that may cause this? This is very similar to a virus I had to deal with a couple years ago, but this has me pulling my hair out. The system runs XP pro/sp2, AVG and SpybotSD were running. Any help from hackers or guru's would be hot. TNX

I can't seem to upload pix,but could e-mail this seems to be very docile, but fairly quick to go defensive. any clues as to info or taxonomy is greatly appreciated.
