So I m a teenager who saw an ad on instagram from "RTI International", looking for teenagers who are willing to take a survey about cigarettes for data, and in return will receive a virtual $25 gift card to amazon/restaurants. I usually pay no mind to these but this one seemed legit so I took the 40 minute survey and after a lot of identification, I received an email with the gift card a few days later, signed off by a "Dr.Mathew Ferrelly, Phd". It all checks out and seems legit, but I don t want anything leaching onto my card info and such. So any news about a scam? something I should know to keep me from trying to use said gift card??
